Easy to use and great grinding based on the desired preparation method.

This grinder looks nice, makes good grinds for espresso, but the buttons will not react to me pushing the them.I have to press really really hard. My porta filter doesn’t fit well in the removable holder, and after i ordered it, i got an extremely long cleaning regiment from the seller.It says in the directions to “tap on the side” as its grinding to help the grinds come out! What! More like bang on the side!“Clean it after every use “ it says. Break it completely down, wash the grinders, let it dry, then re assemble it for next use.The worst part is the buttons not working.If you have the timer for the grinding set wrong, it overflows the porta filter, and makes a big mess! You can’t simply turn it off because the buttons won’t respond. Pretty much a waste of money. Can’t seem to find “contact seller” on Amazon, so , returning is next option.

I am going to admit that I did not and will not maintain an appliance like this. And, I am not an expert at all. I had a simple blade grinder for years and it worked fine. I never had to do a thing to it. I still use it, frankly. I think it's ten years old. We purchased the Gevi because I thought that it might be easier to hit a button every morning and fill it with beans once a week. We also thought that we might be able to tell the difference in the coffee flavor. Not so. It just did not work out well. As I said, I am sure that if I maintained the grinder that it would have performed better, but I know myself well enough to know that it won't happen. I will use the simple grinder instead. I have seen other review that are critical of the button interface. I agree with those comments. It seems like some of the functioned require multiple touches or a touch-and-hold. It just seems finicky. It is also VERY loud. Again.. This is the only burr grinder that I have owned. It will be the only burr grinder that I ever own.

Purchased to replace cheaper grinder, but going back to the old grinder. LED display is a hassle, and takes several tries to work sometimes. Most reliable method of getting it to work was unplugging it and plugging it back in after 30 seconds. Grind was really nice when the display cooperated with you. Hopper doesn't do a great job of feeding beans into the grinder, you constantly have to hit the side as it grinds to get beans to the grinder. Returned.

I really liked the product while it worked but it only lasted a month. It doesn't grind anymore at all. I believe it is just clogged with grounds. I took it apart and brushed it out and still nothing. For the price I would expect it to last a little longer.

Easy to use and good design

I wish the buttons where just buttons and not just touch sensors. took a while to figure out how to activate.While it worked, it grinded (Ground?) well and made a great espresso grind. However, the motor failed after 2 months. I am getting a replacement to give it one more try.The other irritating issue was that the beans would jam and I had to nudge it for the beans to start flowing again.Update: Gevi reached out to me with detailed instructions and videos on how to maintain the grinder better. Appreciate the information and especially the videos. Seems cumbersome to have to clean the product every day and deep clean every week. However, if that is required to ensure the product continues to operate then so be it. The grind is fantastic and I hope that following these instructions will be the key for a long operating life. Increased rating because of Gevi's follow up. Will re-visit in 3 months
