Great game stunning graphics. Highly recommend

This remake is incredible! I would firstly recommend a good headset to fully submerse yourself into the experience! As the atmospheric sounds and music are incredible, I also nearly had a heart attack when a morph smashed through a wall at me, just when I thought I was safe! The graphics and detail are fantastic, crisp and sharp, I turned off performance mode in the game settings as this takes away from the visuals to help the game run at 60fps, but I found the game still runs smoothly with this off. Scare factor: very high, lots of blood and gore! I’m a horror veteran with the likes of resident evils and evil withins, so used to this kind of stuff, but if your new to the horror genre and this franchise, the pause button will become your best friend to grab a breather! I love also in this game how you can react with your surroundings, for example the dead bodies on the floor you can hit them around and when you walk into them they move about, so lovely realism! Anyway I highly recommend this game to all! Newcomers and veterans alike!

I've not played much of Dead space so far but I have played a little. Liked what I played so far I have enjoyed. The combat seems very challenging but good at the same time. The storyline so far seems good aswell, quality of the graphics is very good. Pacing is slow to begin with but does pick up pace not far into the game. Takes time to get used to the dark environments and the movement though. It's definitly easier then the original game to play though. So would recommend the game so far of what I've played.

Being of an age where i can remember buying the original Dead Space on the first day it was released, i was both excited and nervous to play the remake. We have all played remakes where they heart, soul and meat of what made the original such a great game has been watered down, removed, or diluted to a point where playing the remake damages your fond memories and nostalgia for the original. Thankfully this is not the case for the Dead Space remake. Hand on my heart I loved every minute of the remake. It genuinely felt like I was playing Dead Space, albeit a smoother, better rendered version. I felt they hadn’t lost the visceral, atmospheric, brutal and stunning visuals, sounds and feel that made the original one of the best sci-fi horror games I have played. The story has a few tweaks and alterations that I feel don’t detract from the story, in fact I felt some enhanced the story. One of the most notable inclusions that I really liked was the Hammod/Chen story/dialogue. Like anything everyone has an opinion and perhaps there are some faults or areas of improvement but as far as I’m concerned this deserves 5 stars.

I love it. Great quality. New gameplay, I hated the "reconfigure aim" mission thing. Always struggled with it, now it is changed and is better. Just the graphics are wow. Longer too. The ONLY TWO THINGS I DONT LIKE is 1. Instead of his helmet closing back into the suit, he straight just takes it off..... Weird. 2. It's great for a parallel universe type multiverse thing. But I prefer Isaac when he was just a silent man, like he was so horrified he could only scream. And now he is this calm talking guy like the rest of the series. Which is fine, but I prefer realistically quiet and scared Issac. Hope to see the next two games redone, and make the third one scary again.

When I first played that space on the Xbox 360/PS3, it blew my mind with its originality and gripping gameplay. The remastered improves on that even if you’ve played the game years ago. The replayability factor is very high. And seeing it with remastered visuals is a real treat.
