Great tool to have around!
Very versatile, can be used in many situations. I do a lot of mechanic work and when you have a stuck bolt with a rounded off head this pipe wrench is your best friend. These things beat your standard vise grips 9 times out of 10, you have a wide range for adjustment and the long handles allow for a lot of grip to really clamp down on what you're trying to turn loose. The only time these don't work well is when you are working in an area with little clearance (due to how big they are). Overall I highly recommend these! Great product at an affordable price!

hard to reach places is easier
Unit is strong steel, can work in places and hold securely where other tools cannot fit--my top nut on my shocks is one example-Tom

Great for tie rods
Finally found the tool able to remove and install large diameter tie rods on my Sequoia. A superior design to the traditional pipe wrench as this applies clamping force, allowing it to work on round objects.

Heavy and cumbersome!
Maybe the Swedish don't always get it right. Heavy "pliers" and the adjustment wheel constantly loosens, on its own.
