I have an Affinity for ACInfinity...
The media could not be loaded. I wrote a review last year for the "intake" version of this unit. The front "exhaust" is fuctionally the same as the intake exept the oritation of the six fans. There is a slightly lower overall noise as compared to the intake at speeds 4, 5, and 6. Other than that my previous review holds true. Including this I have 4 units total with no issues to report. (Note this video is of the "exhaust" unit.)*******First let me say, I'm a big "fan" of AC Infinity. They've impressed me with their products. These are quality air movers albeit at a premium price. For this unit I needed to cool Netgate Appliance that tends to get very warm. This unit is perfect for that. I purchased the "intake" or front to rear airflow. It keeps the heatsink fins cool to the touch on speed 1.Sound levels on speed 1 are near silent from 3 ft away. Speed 2 is noticeable but not intrusive. Speed 3 and beyond, it starts sounding like a 1U blade server in a data center. The display dims after about 5 seconds and can be turned off. There are two auto modes based on the temp setting. I use the manual mode and set my desired speed. This is the setting out of the box. Speaking of which aside from the AC adaptor, there's also a pass through cable to power a second unit as well as a temp sensor. Additionally, cage nuts and screws are included. The box is well designed and foam padding has been included to protect from shipping damage. The "A" mode let's you change the alarm warning temp, "B" let's you set the temp buffer to 2, 4, 6, or 8 degrees F. Power draw is minimal so no reason to be concerned there. So where does this fit in your use case? Do you have an AV rack even just a cabinet/shelves. Does it get too warm? One or a pair of these (one intake and one exhaust) would help. IT rack? Works good. Are you in the room while using? I don't mind speeds 1 or 2 when I'm in the room. But anything beyond that would be an issue. Also, even though I haven't used them, I'd suspect the 2U and 3U variants would be quieter (larger fans can move more air at lower RPMs).All in all, I'm already ordering a second. I highly recommend. I'll update if there's any longevity issues but I've owned other AC Infinity models that see 24-7-365 use without issue so I expect the same with this unit.Update 07/2023:I have since ordered a third intake as well an an exhaust unit. The first two are still blowing strong. They keep my network gear reasonably cool at speed 1. They only negative I've found is with the output to run two of these units in parallel with the included cable and 120VAC power supply. The power brink doesn't have enough power to running two units at full speed output. The fans do not output at full speed and the screen even dims or shuts off. Running each unit individually with the power brick allows each unit to operate at full power without these issues.

Quality product that does what it is supposed to do quietly
Very nice product. I use it in my Amateur Radio rack to vent my Tube amplifier heat out. Unit works well and is reasonably quiet even on the highest speed. Display is nice and aesthetically blends in with the rest of the rack seamlessly. I may see about reversing the direction of one side of the fans, to do a push/pull in the cavity to maximize airflow.

Well made but LOUD
Really disappointed in the fan quality, and noise to performance ratio, but the unit is otherwise well made, beautifully packaged, and has great features… Noctua Mod may be called for.

Great device with good build quality and decent features...
This is a great product. It is well built, well packaged for shipment. Seems to be very high quality, has several settings for how it will run which work great. It is a bit more expensive than some of the other solutions, but it is totally worth it. Do yourself a favor and spend the little extra for this device. It is very quite at lower speeds and even at high speeds, I wouldn't call it loud, but that is very subjective. The only thing it is missing that would nice is some form of remote monitoring, but I knew that going in, this works perfect for my requirements. Highly recommended.

NAS Rack cooler
I just finished installing this last week, and it is working pretty well right now. I like the controllers on this and the fan can be pretty loud but powerful at full speed. This is an exhaust airflow fan so please make a note before you purchase. This should be placed next to your vent and if possible you should have an intake fan at the other end to complete the circulation cycle.

Cooling my rack
Very nice quality. I like there are a lot of settings. This is basically noiseless at level 1 and not over loud at maximum. I keep it at level 2. I'm very happy it's only 1u because my rack is kinda small. The metal is liteweight and pretty for a nice polished look.

Decent, not great
This replaced an old home-made fan for a small rack. It works as advertised, although I had to experiment with the fan speed to reduce the noise level. I have it on 2, 4 would be the ideal speed, but wow it is annoying with the whine it puts out. Speed 5 is right out of the question. 2 seems to do the job ok, although it has to run a long time to cool things down. A bit concerned for next summer here in Texas. We'll see.I'd recommend trying something else, frankly. It isn't perfect, but works ok.

Love them, bought 4
Needed to really move some air in a new rack of video components in our Mobile Broadcast Trailer. Even with great AC it still gets hot in the production trailer in the middle of the summer in South Georgia during the day. Bought 3 of these and one a bit larger. Some blew in some blew out. Work great and they are really quite. Daisy chain power supply is very handy and like the sensors that you can locate about anywhere in cabinet to monitor temp. Will be buying more for my other racks real soon to replace noisy privative fans without the monitoring these have.
