I added this to my ultrex and the fit was perfect. The troll tamer now makes it where my ultrex doesn’t budge, will be perfect for big water so things don’t bounce on waves.

Shipped quick, it is awesome and sturdy. Like the last comment go get better stainless screws and your all set. This product in particular is for the maximum not the fortrex and does not come with the black side mount as advertised. Those are the only 2 reasons it didn't get 5 stars.

Troll tamer will not work with Minn Kota's Ultrex trolling motors. The way the wires come off of the Ultrex prevent you from getting your foot under the trolling motor to release the troll tamer.

I purchased this from a different store because I needed it overnight. This is a great piece of hardware. It's made of quality steel and once you install it, your trolling motor is absolutely locked to your boat. However, the screws that come with the Troll Tamer aren't nearly as high-quality as the Troll Tamer itself. That's easy to fix by purchasing some stainless steel screws before installing.One note about the part number. Most online stores list the part number for the 2 3/4" - 4 1/4" Fortrex Troll Tamer as RMC-105FMK-DP, but T-H Marine's website lists that model as the model for a Maxxum and the model for the Fortrex as RMC-BW-105FMK. This confused me so much that I ended up calling T-H Marine and asking them. They told me that their website lists old model numbers. The actual model numbers are available by searching for them on your favorite search engine scoped to the T-H Marine site.Hope that helps someone else.
