LG Tone Triumph Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Neckband Earbuds (HBS-510) - Black

I wanted to replace my old LG bluetooth "necklace", the HBS-730. I mainly used them for music. I couldn't seem to find any new ones that weren't all flimsy. Ended up trying two of the flimsy ones and hated them. The sound was okay but they kept sliding around and on the phone my friends couldn't hear me because the microphone was all over the place. So I searched until finally found these. Great price, same design I wanted. Sound quality is excellent, and because they have that sturdy "necklace" design they are more durable and fit. The mic stays in the same place so much better for phone use!

This is the second time I buy for my Mom who uses this instead of wanting to try out airpods. The first lasted for a good while until the earbuds started to loosen up and audio quality was getting worse so I ordered another one and she is so happy. You can answer any calls with pressing the button on one side and release the call, it has it up and down volume on the other side. Very easy to connect to Bluetooth as any other device. I truly recommend it.

I had to replace my retractable LG headset due to the charger 'input' got 'messed up'. These have great sound and easy to 'wear', but I REALLy miss the 'retractable' earbuds. These are 'magnetic' and it seems flimsy, but they do work and great sound and I've only charged once and have used at least 8-9 hrs.

The HBS-510 is a comfortable pair of headphones similar to other LG Tone models, although it is notably much lower quality in terms of it's assembly. The plastic feels flimsy, and the screws seem to be too tight around the arms as these squeak if jostled. After several weeks of light usage, one of these arms has broken, and now the device is unusable. I had used the device for several months on a daily basis. Sound quality was fine for my podcast listening needs, battery life was fine, and setting up the device was easy. But I had noticed the squeak around the screws the first time I went to charge the device, and noticed the first plastic snapping in February. I do not recommend this device. Its body is much lower quality than similar models from LG, and not worth your money. Spring for a more expensive model as you'll avoid a lot of hassle as LG is not wanting to honor their warranty on the device.

I've owned these for about 1 year. PRO: 1) The sound quality is fine and the volume is acceptable in my quiet office. 2) They still work. No appreciable loss of battery life or sound quality. They are not exposed to the elements, sweat, or other adverse condition, so I would expect them to last. 3) Pairing two devices is not challenging. Pair the first device. Turn the headset off, then on. Pair the second device. Takes ~10 seconds. CON: 1) The magnets are terrible. The earbuds will fall out of the headset while being worn even when sitting. Any movement knocks them loose, which is aggravating. This is 90% of my aggravation with this headset. 2) There is no auto-shutoff feature, which is annoying, but the battery life is acceptable even with no auto-shutoff. The battery life would probably be excellent if I remembered to turn them off or they had the auto-off feature. 3) I don't find them comfortable and they fall out of my ears. More of a "me" problem. They're better than the $30 mpow jaws/generic Chinese headset that I also own. That pair got water damage and died, my fault. I would probably buy these LG headphones again, assuming they last another 2+ years.

Great for travel, listening to TV while spouse sleeps, talking on phone more privately, or just listening to music without bulky headset.

So for some reason - you too question earbuds effectiveness - while your phone’s battery last 18 to 24 hours your earbuds last only 3 or 6? Who thought this one up? We have for the longest time used the LG neck earbuds for decent sound and incredible run-time longevity and heaven forbid our work/ fun day last so long - because of affordability - you can own 2+ and keep one charged as you use the 1st for still much less then the suave earbud Pooh :) …besides who decided that having white things dripping out our ears was a fashion statement worth repeating? It worked fine for Spock - but please…
