Once I started flipping through the books, I was actually very pleased. My infant is able to hold on to the books as we flip through them. The illustrations are cute, the set appears to be of high quality construction, and I am quite pleased overall, just don't expect something normal sized.

Purchased this generally well reviewed set of books based on studies that tout the benefits of black and white images for young babies. Turns out it also tested my visual and cognitive skills when I missed the posted dimensions of this set as a tiny 3.5x2x2”. I also failed to note a discrepancy between the listed Amazon price vs the $7.99 printed on the box. You might find a lower price if you shop around or buy preowned. So, the bottom line for me is that this is a sturdy set of little books which are sized for their intended users and priced fairly.
