Baby's Very First Black & White Little Library Board book – December 1, 2011

LOVE these books and at a great price. I have purchased these multiple times. Babies love them. Nice to tuck in with the shower gift.

I love this book set for babies! The black and white pictures are so engaging!

Purchased this generally well reviewed set of books based on studies that tout the benefits of black and white images for young babies. Turns out it also tested my visual and cognitive skills when I missed the posted dimensions of this set as a tiny 3.5x2x2”.I also failed to note a discrepancy between the listed Amazon price vs the $7.99 printed on the box. You might find a lower price if you shop around or buy preowned. So, the bottom line for me is that this is a sturdy set of little books which are sized for their intended users and priced fairly.

Small books. This was a gift to a new Mama.

My boys LOVE LOVE LOVE these books. They are the perfect size for their hands. They are quite small, so if you're expecting normal sized books you will be sorely disappointed. We love to travel with these as they are perfect to just slip into our carryon bags. They enjoy putting the books inside the box. The pictures are simple and they have no problem identifying the single words. Wonderful little series.

When these arrived, at first I was a bit taken aback. The books are truly "mini", about 1/2 to 1/4 of the size of my son's other board books. Once I started flipping through the books, I was actually very pleased. My infant is able to hold on to the books as we flip through them. The illustrations are cute, the set appears to be of high quality construction, and I am quite pleased overall, just don't expect something normal sized.

Alas... I was one of the individuals who didn’t realize just how tiny these books were. I know board books are small, so I wasn’t expecting a full sized book, but my goodness. They’re barely three inches! If they were cheaper, then I wouldn’t be so disappointed. But to pay $12 for something is size is truly ridiculous. Especially after seeing the actual price on the back of the book box ($7.99). I don’t want to give it 5 starts but I don’t want to give it 1 star either because it was my fault for not paying closer attention. But five stars is waay too much of a stretch. So 3 it is...

Its smaller than expected. Its the size of my palm but theres a few books in there. Hope the baby likes It
