BulovaMen's Classic Surveyor 2-Hand Day/Date Quartz Watch, Luminous Hands, 39mm

Very pleased with this purchase. It arrived in two days, well packaged.This watch has a classical look to it, especially with the two tone case and band. The Fit and Finish is good, with well done polishing and brushing integrating together. The band is good, solid steel with solid end links.Moans and Niggles (yes, I watch Jody on YouTube) are minor. Sapphire glass would be nice, however, the domed crystal is a good one. I really like the band, but the clasp could be improved a bit. A few notches of micro adjustment would be nice. Having said that, it only took me about 15 minutes to remove a few links and get a good fit.I am happy with my purchase, recommend it!

Elegant-looking watch, compact body, and very versatile for dressing.

This watch is beautiful in a simple uncluttered way. The case and band are a great looking combination. The face is very clear and simple. Love the day printed in full with no abreviation and at the 12 o'clock position. The date is kinda small, however, it is still readable. The color combination of gold and silver makes this a very attractive watch. Normally I prefer a leather band, but I am very happy that I got this particular watch with the matching "bracelet" style of band. The watch that I received has the Bulova tuning fork logo on the face exactly as shown in the photos. The size of the face is perfect for my medium size wrist and the weight is slightly on the heavy side. After much research, I am glad that I made this purchase. So far, it is keeping PERFECT time. If that should change, I will do a follow up review.

Great value, beautiful watch! My husband loves it.

The watch is elegant. The watch keeps accurate time. I've checked this against a radio clock as well as world time on a computer. After just one month the watch was slow by a mere second. The precision models' second sweep hand moves like a 'wall" electric clock and unlike a Tick-Tock-Second-By-Second pulse.Lastly, the time and date are EASY TO READ!

First, the day of the week (indicated Saturday) could not be set to another day. This is the primary reason I returned this watch. At first, the watch was not working (read the instructions that weren't there).Instructions: the paper in the watch box marked "instructions" had no instructions, just the warranty card and marketing stuff. Nothing about the watch model I bought or even the model number. Well, and a website to go find the real instructions. Those instructions were for numerous watch models; not knowing the model number, I had to paw through the various watch type instructions to find the ones applicable to the watch I bought. These instructions said to remove a little clip on the crown, push it all the way in and the watch would now work (it did). Pull the crown all the way out and set the time; that worked. Then pull the crown out half way to set the day of the month by turning one way (that worked); turn the crown the other way to set the weekday (that did not work).Basically, a company that is so ignorant that they can't include simple instructions is no longer on my list of companies I will deal with. I had a good opinion of Bulova (from family members) before I bought this watch. Now, my opinion of Bulova is pretty low: no instructions in the box and watch didn't work right.
