This works! The last steam cleaner I bought made a lot of steam, but didn't actually lift the dirt from the floor. My kitchen tiles were a poor choice (though, in my defence, the choice was extremely limited by the housebuilder). They are textured in such a cunning way that dirt sticks to them like glue. As they are off-white and in a high-traffic area, this has meant they nearly always look dirty. No more! This cleaner lifts the dirt effortlessly and quickly. I am famously weak and pathetic due to longstanding arthritis, but even I can manage to move this across the floor effectively. It doesn't leave pools of water either. The floor dried quickly, too. I dirtied a single cloth cleaning my floor, and as the cleaner comes with two, and I purchased two more, it will be a while before I have to wash the cloths.The cleaner seems robust, was easy to assemble and is safe to use, with no need to hold down switches etc. Recommended for mucky floor everywhere!

I went for this steamer because that is what it is-a steamer. No bells and whistles it does the job pretty well with no excess steam. I have had previous steamers which gave you all sorts of attachments, obviously at a price, and I never use them. So it does what it says on the tin and cleans the had floors. Would recommend.

Easy to use product and so far so good . Would be good to have a smaller attachment head as n addition to get around fixed legs on furniture.However you need to be quite strong to get everything out of the box. Also there are eleven “11”literally jumbo size instruction leaflets in approx. 25 languages, extremely confusing and not good for the environment. vileda Please Note. A small booklet is enough. What a game changer! I have laminate floors and carpet. Mopping floors was always a hassle and predominantly left smears.This thing is brilliant, it actually does heat up in 15s (that had to be seen to be believed)!It leaves no smears on hard flooring and more importantly the carpets look amazing. Hovered them 1st, then steamed them and then hovered again, they look fantastic.The triangular head gets into every nook an cranny, which the mop cant.Worth every penny!Will still keep my vileda mop and bucket, but it's gonna accumulate dust unless something drastic needs it!

Works great on my tiled floors. Heats up fast. I use de-ionised water so it doesn't scale up the holes. Fab product.

I used this steam cleaner on carpet, tiles and vinyl to kill house dust mites. It worked well on all the surfaces. On carpets I found you need to move it fairly slowly over the surface to ensure that the steam gets right down into the carpet. It won't remove dirt or stains from the carpet, but it does sterilise.

Product very good cleans well. Long lead unfortunately you can’t see how much water is in cleaner.
