Perfect for my '09 FJR1300
I'm glad I got this. It's slightly taller than the one that came off the FJR but the extra capacity will catch more and provide better flow. I use full synthetic and change every 8 to 10k so I appreciate the extra volume of this. I will buy again.

No need for a filter wrench
The OEM filter on my 21 Indian had the welded on nut 17 mm for removing. The oil kit filter didn’t. So I used a small strap wrench it buckled the oil kit filter, so I ordered this K & N with the nut and will be replacing the filter again! Lesson learned- don’t go 3/4 past contract, just go 1/4 past contract.

Good as any other high-end filter.
These are as good as any other high-end filter, and competitively priced. I go two oil changes on each, halving the cost - if you're like me you change your oil often. I've never found any particulate matter in an oil filter.

Easy to install and remove
Makes installation and removal a breeze with the nut on top. The only issue I have had is when you give a shop the filter to put on they must use a gorilla to install it which is unnecessary and then you go to remove it and the nut can strip. I have found that even with using a stock Yamaha filter shops seem to want to over-tighten them and then you need to to use a screwdriver punched through the side in order to leverage it off. Totally unnecessary. Other wise a good product as long as you install it properly. Once the filter seats on the gasket all you need is a half turn by hand to tighten it down and you are good to go.

Schnelle Lieferung.
Bisher noch keine Probleme mit K&N Ölfiltern gehabt. Gut finde ich aufgesetzten Sechskant zum leichten lösen des Ölfilters, da braucht man keinen Speziellen Ölfilter Schlüssel.

Mit sechskant für Ringschlüssel
Was in einem Ölfilter so vor sich geht weiss ich nicht, aber was für eine Pest das Lösen meistens ist kann man nicht verstehen, wenn man einmal einen mit einem angeschweißten Sechskant hatte, der mit einem normalen Schlüssel zu lösen ist, völlig undramatisch und kinderleicht. Ich kaufe nix anderes mehr.
