All-Around Educational Counting Toy
I really like this toy; it helps younger children learn number recognition while also instilling counting to learn how to get to each number. Spelling the words underneath each number also help with reading, so it's a great educational hands-on toy. The thing I was most impressed by were the different colors for each number, so that kids can match up the colors to their respective numbers. The pouches were great to be able to keep all the blocks and pegs together and organized so that none get lost. My 3 year old absolutely loves playing with this toy and I can already see his improvement with counting and number recognition, even outside of this toy.

Nice Game With One Caution
I ordered this because my toddler grandson has started taking an interest in numbers. This set consists of nine wooden pegboards and a set of pegs. One side of the pegboard has an image and the other side has a number (1-9) and the corresponding number of holes. On the side with the image, there will be a group equal to the number on the other side. For example, for the number 3 there is an image of three bees. The object of the game is pretty simple. The child places pegs into the holes. The number of pegs corresponds to the number printed on the pegboard, and the color of the pegs matches the color of the number. As kids start to develop inherent numeracy, they will notice that the pegs that fit into the number 9 pegboard can also be used to fill the number 4 and number 5 pegboard with no holes unfilled and no leftover pegs. There is a caution that needs to be mentioned, though. The pegs are relatively small. Kids who like putting things in their mouth or nose need to be supervised while playing with this game. The pegs are painted, and kids who like to chew things might end up with flakes of paint in their mouth. While paints used for children's toys are supposed to be non-toxic, it's better to be safe than sorry. This toy is made of smooth wood with no sharp or rough edges. A carrying bag for the pegs is included. Younger kids would probably have fun just matching the pegs to the right color, even if they have not yet developed an interest in numbers.

Great learning tool!
I got these for my son to help him start to conceptualize numbers. The pieces are pretty small so I am going to have to hold off for a little while before he can play with the pegs. The pieces are nice quality wood and the pictures are bright and colorful. The wood board parts are heavy enough to withstand a lot of rough play. It remains to be seen how long before all the pegs are lost but the cool thing is that you could just use q-tips or straws if you lose the pegs. I looked at the price and it seems about right for wooden toys. I think with a little care these could be passed down between kids.

A nice toy to learn numbers in a fun way .
Comes in above package so much attractive with animals , birds and ponds . It comes with total 10 set of wooden number puzzle with a nice wooden with numbers and slots for the wooden knobs . It also come with counting images on the back and numbers and slots in the front . My daughter loves to say numbers but she don’t identify them . This was one of the best toy I got for her she was so attracted by the images and small holes to keep the knobs makes her learn them with fun and time passes well for so long . Good for kids aged 2.5 to 3.5 .

Cute, durable, and high quality!
I got this set for my almost two-year-old daughter to begin learning numbers. I was very happy with the quality! The wood tiles are smooth and the images on them are secure- they survived my scratch testing. Each tile has the accurate number of holes for the pegs and the accurate number of objects on the back.My favorite thing about them is that the pegs fit very easily into the holes. We run into this issue a lot with toddler puzzles where the fit is SO exact that it becomes very difficult for my daughter to get them in the holes. This set has enough space around the peg that they slide in easily. My only caution is that the pegs are very small. If your toddler puts things in their mouth at all, I would use this with extreme caution!

Neat concept; vibrant colors; great for fine motor skill development
This is a great concept for teaching numbers, one-to-one correspondence, and fine motor skills development. Clearly the pieces are small, and should not be used with the littlest kids who still put things in their mouths. That being said, I could see how these could cause a bit of frustration for kids still fine tuning their motor skills. My set was well constructed, and had a nice thin layer of a shiny finish (I feel like I can safely wipe with a damp cloth without damaging it). Some of the pegs weren't exactly straight, some fit in the holes super loosely, while others were so tight they needed a definite tug to get them out - but overall, each number set had all functioning pegs. Once the pegs were all gathered together, it was tough to discern between some of the similar colors (like the blues for 6 and 7...and 8 and 10 were a little tough as well). Overall, this is a nice set with minor flaws. It is a bit pricey but worth it if you can find it at a sale price.
