Honeywell makes great products, and this fan is no exception.
I pretty much run my fans 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, and all year long. I have four fans (two are Honeywell) and two Honeywell air purifiers. These products are solid and worth the money. This particular fan was a great purchase, because I know I will get years of use from it. One of my Honeywell fans has been going strong for over 8 years now! This one was easy to assemble, and does not take up much room. I find it to be relatively quiet, and it generates a very strong air current. I like the idea of the removable filter, it makes cleaning quite easy. The only thing I do not care much for is the remote. It is an awkward shape, not something that most people are use to handling. This is a great product in my opinion.

Nice Fan with Great Airflow - I Bought it Twice
I purchased this fan for someone else as a gift. They were so pleased with it that I purchased one for myself. I love the slim profile and small footprint, and the cord length is generous as well. It's quite easy to find a spot to squeeze this into. The fan itself is powerful, and was all I used in my office during a summer heatwave. The oscillation provides excellent air flow, although I'm not crazy about some of the settings, such as "breeze": I don't quite get the point of a variable air flow, but maybe that works for some people. I also don't understand the temperature control, since moving the air doesn't actually change the temperature, it just provides the sensation of cooler air on the skin. When I initially saw a temperature setting, I thought there might actually be a heater within the fan (there is not). I believe some of these options are a little excessive and unnecessary. Although the fan comes with a pedestal, there are warnings right on the product that the fan is more stable without it. I prefer the pedestal, and if you are really concerned about stability, there is room inside the hollow pedestal to fill with gravel or something similar to anchor the base. Mine is tucked into a corner and there are no children around, so I am not that concerned about it tipping.

Durable, has worked for years, high wind speed
Great fan, wish the oscillation radius was customizable, but after years of use, it has operated flawlessly. Taking it apart to clean the dust on the plastic filter is very easy. The fan feels very strong, and has 3 settings. Every setting is higher than any other fan that I've owned.

Great tower fan, filter and breeze functions underwhelming
It functions great, the timer and remote are super convenient. Part of the draw for me was the breeze functionality it discussed, which I imagined as subtle shifts in fan speed that wouldn't be as noticeable, but it just basically turns it off and on every few seconds, which is loud enough to be a little jarring. The other complaint I had is that I expected more of the dust filter, especially given the picture they include of what looks like a grey foamy thing. That is not what is included. The dust filter in the back is essentially a net of thin wires that you can pull out to rinse off, but definitely still lets most material through. Besides those two complaints though, I'm very happy with it.

Sleeping better than ever
Such a great fan! Powerful and quiet. I love the features and the remote makes it easy to turn the fan up or down while in bed. The stand is a littler wobbly, however the instructions did warn against that. I've had the fan for a few months now and it's working just a good as it did the first day. The filter makes it incredibly easy to clean to dust of the fan. All I do is rinse it off in the shower and let it dry before I put it back on. I just wish the base assembly was a little simpler and used metal screws instead of the plastic ones.

feature packed fan
I purchased three of these for different rooms and they really push a lot of air. The "low" setting is still pretty high, and probably a little noisy but I like the sound when I sleep. The high setting isn't quite as fast as my shop fans but they'll definitely push a lot of air. The thermostat feature is a nice touch as well. Note that they don't cool the air but they can be turned off automatically. The only oddity is the "breeze" mode, where the fan switches between two speeds (or low and off) in a pattern. I'm still not sure if I like that mode or not but I could see where it would be useful. With the stand extension attached, the fan is a bit wobbly but it doesn't seem to be a tipping danger if you're not pushing on it a lot. Maybe avoid the stand extension if small children will be near it so they don't knock it down. Over all, great fan!

Had to hack it for power
The reviewers saying this unit is quiet must be hearing impaired. It's certainly quiet compared to the jet engine level of noise that comes from my central heating and air unit. That being said, this fan has made a noticeable difference for my condo. I live on the top floor of a condo with upstairs loft space. During the summer months, the loft space can get very hot and stuffy, so I purchased this fan with the hope that it would help make the loft space more comfortable. I purchased the fan yesterday, and I can tell it has already made a significant difference in making the loft and main living areas of my condo cooler and more comfortable. The instructions for assembling the fan were not entirely correct or easy to read, but I was able to figure it all out. Once assembled and plugged in, however, the fan would not power on. After some troubleshooting, I discovered the reason. The back of the unit has a filter with a cover that snaps on. When the filter cover snaps on, it is supposed to cause a button to engage that allows the fan to power on. This was clearly designed as a safety feature. Unfortunately, the plastic piece on the filter cover that is supposed to engage the button isn't long enough to actually engage the button when the filter cover is in place. To fix the power issue, I cut a small strip of heavy card stock paper from a business card, folded the strip, and inserted it into the slot where the safety button was located. Then I snapped the filter cover back into place, and voila! The button was properly engaged and the fan powered on. So if you purchase this fan and it doesn't power on, you now know how to fix it. And if you work at Honeywell, please pass this review along to your product team so you can redesign this part of the unit for better reliability. As far as the value goes, it's a lot to pay for a fan. There are quite a few bells and whistles for the fact that it's a fan -- e.g., a remote control with a flashlight, neither of which I wanted or needed. However, if this unit makes my condo cooler and more comfortable while helping me reduce my power bill, then I'll consider this a very worthwhile investment.

Great Fan
I am pleasantly surprised by this great fan. It's an amazing deal for the money. I was looking for a fan with a filter and this one had it. It does everything I was hoping for, plus one added bonus. I can set a comfortable temperature and the thermostat in the unit will shut the unit down and start it up again to keep that temp. It doesn't chill the air like AC, but it's nice to have such a smart fan. It came very quickly and was easy to assemble. It's a little bit louder than my previous fan, but it's worth the trade off for the upgraded features. I recommend this unit.

Buena calidad y marca en relación a precio
Llegó rápido a casa y bien empaquetado. Me parece que es buena calidad en relación al precio, y ventila bastante bien. Hace un poco de ruido, pero nada grave.

Great working fan
So far I have not found a problem with this fan. I usually purchase pedestal type fans but this style caught my eye. It is a good size and stands 40 inches in height. Oscillates well and has a useful remote that integrates into the fan for storage purposes. It has the power to do what is needed this summer. I have not got around in trying all the features but I have to say it's not a loud sucker!
