Can you use this without having a pc or a mobile ???

yes it is a standalone headset just like the Meta Quest but better. You can download games from the Pico store within the headset. You only need a PC to run PCVR games where the PC runs VR games and displays them VR games in the Pico headset via wifi or cable from the PC. The advantage of this is the PC can produce really high quality graphics

Will this work on playstation and pc?

It will not work on PlayStation at all. It can work with PC, there's a Pico Streamer app you can install on your PC, or you can purchase "Virtual Desktop" on the Pico store, and use either to play PCVR games via your Pico 4

Will a usb cable give me better data transfer speeds and less latency, or is Virtual desktops wireless just as good?

At the moment it's best to use wifi6 with virtual desktop. The usb-c cable that comes with pico 4 is only for charging so slow for data/video. Pico are currently working on the video compression via usb-c 40Gbps cable as it's still buggy.
