Bloomoak Polarized Night Driving Over Glasses/Fashion Oversized/Anti Glare for Women/Wrap Around Glasses/Suit for Driving

I was a bit dubious about putting on a tinted lens to improve my vision at night, but I do a lot of night driving in the winter and I thought it was worth giving these a try. These, the oversized black frame, were the only ones that would fit over my glasses: they look a bit odd, but I just have to remember to take them off before getting out of the car.I tried them this morning. It was dark and very rainy. I had a 45-mile journey, starting on country lanes, then busy single-carriageway A-roads, passing through some villages and small towns, and ending with some urban driving. It is the sort of drive that is extremely difficult, with glare and reflections everywhere, and, particularly at junctions, sometimes real difficulty in working out what is happening.I was really impressed with the difference these over-glasses made. By noticeably reducing the glare from car lights, both direct and reflected, they helped my eyes by reducing the need for constant adjustment. What that meant was that I was much more comfortable, but, more importantly, that I was better able to see and interpret what was happening on the road. There was no reduction in my ability to read road-signs and number plates. Crucially, visibility of important hazards was improved: pedestrians in dark clothes; the cyclist without lights(!); the unlit black car someone had helpfully left in the road after a blind bend. I am quite certain that they improved my safety and the safety of other road users.However odd they look, I will now definitely keep them in my car and use them for every drive in the dark.

I have only used them twice and only on a 5 minute journey. They definitely dimmed the approaching car lights and stop the dazzle. I can just about fit them over my prescription glasses. They must be quite comfortable as each time I forgot to take them off and leave them behind in the car 😂

I’ve recently taken a job that I have to drive down lanes and also on a lorry run part of the way. I’ve struggled for a while with night vision, but usually stay local on well light roads. Now I’ve my perfect job but with driving 45 mins in dark mornings and dark evenings. I was so very apprehensive of the dark nights which are looming on the horizon. I have used these twice now in the night 22:00 and 23:30 faced Lorrie’s, drivers on full beam, and dark lanes - honestly these will enable me to retain my new post without worry of driving to and from work. Don’t work for me.Ok for others I guess

I wanted to try a yellow tint to see if it would help with night driving and I think it does. The added contrast is good. Signs seem to be a little clearer. The actual glasses are great. They fit well and stay in place over my prescription glasses. They have a good box to keep them in. The tint takes some getting used to. Windscreens of other cars look a weird colour and generally it took me a while to settle with the different outlook. I’ve used them on grey days and I think they help with that too because of the contrast. I used them recently on a fairly long night drive and once I settled down with the different view I felt really comfortable in them and felt like I could see everything around me just a little better. Glare is still difficult but I do think the glasses help.

There was loads of bits and pieces that came with them, a case, glasses cloth, cloth bag and chord to use around the neck. I will use the case and cloth but not the other two items especially the chord as I’ve already got two pairs of glasses on and it will make behind my ears sore. I would have preferred to pay less than have what are unnecessary items of no use to me.I had to choose these as the other more stylish ones on offer weren’t guaranteed to fit over my glasses. They looked more robust 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nothing to complain about order easy, glasses excellent, I now feel much more at ease when driving at night

I have really struggled driving in the dark with car headlights. These glasses fit perfectly over my prescription glasses annd anre very lightweight and stay in place. In heavy traffic on a dual carriageway in the dark, no glare whatsoever. It’s amazing the difference they make. I am totally thrilled with them and as so many other reviewers said they are so comfortable you don’t rush to take the off.

I love these glasses for riding my bicycle. They soften the shadows making it easier to see bumps & pot holes in the road. The fit is comfortable and lenses are just the right size over my prescription glasses.

Bin total zufrieden mit der Brill Sie sitzt perfekt über meine Gleitsichtbrille und erleichtert mir bei dunkelheit und bei Nässe das Autofahren. Da meine Sicht durch die Brille verstärkt wird und daa blenden der anderen Autos sehr runter reduziert. Einfach super und kann ich auchnur weiter empfehlen.
