They Work Well
These are cool. I threw 3 in a large load of clothes in the dryer and they dried quicker than usual. They are weighty so I guess they do help separate the clothes to help dry them faster and they feel soft and nice.

Great Alternative to Dryer Sheets
These dryer balls work really well and help cut down on drying time. I switched to these because dryer sheets were leaving oily stains on my clothes, and I haven’t had that issue at all since making the switch. They’re easy to use, well made, and I like that they’re a natural option with no added scent. Overall, I’m really happy with them and would definitely recommend.

Can’t imagine living without these!
Once I discovered these wool dryer balls I was initially very skeptical, but after using them since 2018, I can’t imagine doing laundry without them! The clothe and other laundry: - dries much faster - replaces liquid fabric softener, so saves money, chemicals, and storage space - replace dryer sheets, so saves money, chemicals, and storage space - reduces static - reduces chemical exposure to the skin of my whole family - reduces trash - and after I changed the heat setting to Low, the clothes have significantly less wrinkles, and it still takes less time to dry than before switching to the balls - huge money saver! I can’t imagine how much money, time, and effort having these dryer balls have saved me, but it’s significant! And it should be many years before I will need to replace them, so the benefits just continue to accrue. I still have a box of Costco/Kirklands dryer sheets that have got to be 5+ years old or older. As I write this, I’m asking myself why I still have those dryer sheets. Guess I’ll do some research on alternative uses for them before tossing them out, but they’re just taking up space in my laundry room.

Work well and hold up well over time
This is my second order of these, same brand (we somehow lost a few, hence the re-order!). I had never used dryer balls before, now I've been using them for over 2 years. I don't think they live up to EVERY claim--especially that they will prevent static cling. They really don't do much for that. I still throw a dryer sheet in with my whites, which is the batch that seems to build the most static. But I do like that these seem to dry things a bit faster, and definitely help with a bulky load like towels, bedding, or heavy clothing like jeans and hoodies. And, they are perfect for drying down coats/jackets or sleeping bags (which you're supposed to dry with something like tennis balls!). These also hold up great. In the years I've had them, they haven't discolored or gotten smaller or anything, they still work as good as when they were new. They don't have a scent, so that's a plus for you if you don't like the dryer sheet smell.

BUY THEM NOW.
I can’t tell you how much I love these dryer balls. Seriously. A load of jeans is completely dry in the same time frame when before, they were always damp. They dry sheets and blankets well. They fluff pillows fantastically. They’re supposed to replace dryer sheets for a whole year and I’m 100% convinced! I saw a review on here of some guy complaining about finding them in his jeans and how it’s getting old. No. When I take the clothes out of the dryer, I take out the 6 balls for the next load and make sure I have them all. It’s not that hard. Someone else mentioned they got fuzzies all over their jeans. Well jeans were the very first things I dried with these and not one fuzzy was left behind. If you live with a lot of girls or girls with long hair- you know how you sometimes find a wad of hair in the arm of a clean shirt? Yeah that doesn’t happen anymore. The hair sticks to the wool balls and it’s super easy to take off and throw away. Done! Even better- the loads don’t take as long to dry. If you dry them too long, everything will be staticky. I’ve found that putting everything 5-10 minutes short of when I usually dry things works perfect. There’s no wrinkles, no static, no fuss! Also, they have no scent whatsoever, so if you have sensitive skin to scents they’re perfect. Some people add essential oils. I just enjoy my clean, non-scented, fresh, completely dry laundry. Save yourself the money, the energy, the time, and the wasteful dryer sheets! What are you waiting for??

Best used with low heat drying, or heavy items such as jeans & towels
The absolute best thing about these dryer balls is that they don't leave weird markings all over my husband's dress shirts. I thought my husband was getting weird computer stains on his dress shirts. Turns out a build up of dryer sheet chemicals in the vents was leaving the marks on my husband's dress shirts. With these dryer balls we no longer have this problem. You will need to follow the directions with these though. If you try and dry things from the normal amount of time you used to, everything is going to come out staticy. It's especially bad if your're drying a lot of slinky shorts or athletic pants. I've found we get the best results by using these with dress clothes we want to hang up before they're completely dry. And also things like heavy towels or jeans. Though they really do seem to work on all our clothes as long as I'm careful not to set the timer too long. They seem to work the best when I use the automatic cycles, especially the delicate one. Everything does dry faster, and nothing has a weird smell at the end. I admit I was worried, especially since the one time I accidentally dried a pair of wool gloves everything smelled funky. If you're the kind of person who just hits start on the dryer and walks away until the next day, these probably aren't going to be for you. But if you don't mind a bit of trial and error finding the right dying cycles, or taking stuff out pretty promptly when it's done, then I recommend giving these a try. I bought them on sale for eight bucks, and with as much electricity, drying time, and headaches I've saved, they are beyond worth the cost.
