The media could not be loaded. It’s a good little train for the cost has steam and sound effects it’s a little cheap but the fact that it comes with a rechargeable battery is a plus. It looks good under the tree for now and the battery does need a long charge unfortunately but work for a couple hours also has a silent mode in case you don’t want the coins effects.

I'm so pleased with my purchase of this train. Love the fact that it's rechargeable and I'm not burning through batteries. Sound effects and steam is wonderful. My granddaughter loves it! However I have a tiny issue that I couldn't help notice. The cabin decals on one of the cars are upside down.

I saw this train set on Amazon while searching for a birthday gift for my 6 year old grandson. I had good reviews and has a fairly large track, so I gave it a try. The track can be made into a circle, or an oval over 70 inches wide. It is powered by a single rechargeable battery Like AA). It only came with one. This seems to me to be the weakest part of the entire arrangement, but the first charge I gave it allowed the train to run for over an hour. It has an adapter that connects to any USB outlet, and has a red light that goes out when the battery is fully charged. You can put water for the smoke featute into the gold plug on top of the engine, beside the smoke stack, but it seems to take a while for water to work its way into the engine before it initially began to "smoke". Tip: I would use distilled water for this, (just as you would in a steam iron). When you switch on the engine, it has one click that allows the sound of the engine/bell to be heard. If you get tired of this audio, there is a further click to run in silent mode. When turned on, the train has a short delay before it moves. I like this, as it gives the child time to let go of the engine before it starts moving. Show your child how to connect the cars together , so they do not break the car connectors. You have to come in at a slight angle to do it. It comes with 3 cars, two large and one smaller one. I think any child of a good age (5 or above) will enjoy this train set.

For being an inexpensive train it has wonderful details and being battery operated makes it self-contained and easy to set up. The smoke feature is not dramatic, we filled it multiple times and we’re only able to get a little bit of smoke out, but it’s not a big deal to me personally at this price point and no fear of kids breaking it either.

The train struggles to sit on the track correctly. It falls off constantly. Very cheaply made. It came with two rechargeable batteries, both lasted about 2 minutes of running time each. I bought this for my son but it made him cry more than anything. Sound quality really sucks and was really annoying to listen to. The engine was the worst car on the tracks. The other two cars rode on the track smoothly. The coal car holds the battery so it’s not possible to roll the engine on the track alone

The product works well... sort of.Firstly, the product didn't come with instructions, which isn't too disappointing since it is somewhat simple, but figuring out the water and smoke situation was a little frustrating. This leads me to the next problem:The smoke, barring I did anything wrong, was very underwhelming, and took a very close look to even see.To cut it short, this a more of a basic train that could be used every Christmas and lost to storage for the year. Not worth the money for the marketing.

The media could not be loaded. We bought this to be used as a surprise for a friend who loves charcuterie boards for their birthday. Wanted to spice it up so we made them a CharChooterie Train for their birthday and it was a total hit! They couldn’t stop laughing once they came in and saw what we had done, everyone enjoyed putting it together, and it worked perfectly. Will definitely be using this for other parties in the future (in the sense of it will be a vehicle for food and cuteness) and am so glad it worked out so well! We hadn’t beta tested it before the party- so I’d been a little worried about quality and size- but it ended up being easy to put together, good size, cute train sounds, and easy to duct tape some paper plates to the train tops. 10/10 recommended for silly cuteness for all involved!

This was a Christmas gift for my 3 1/2 yr. old grandson and it was a hit. The smoke stack actually sent up smoke, although after a full days worth of play, it no longer sends up smoke. I don't know what the deal is with that but I'm not upset because there seemed to be a peculiar odor that gave me a splitting headache. The tracks are the regular plastic tracks and easy to assemble. The train runs along the tracks but seems to be a little too long to make the curve/turn and it goes off track on occasion. All in all I think it is a cute item and would be a welcomed gift.
