Should have bought them a long time ago. I go too long before buying new bits haha. Always pleased an amazed how nice a new set are. SOOOO easy to drill holes again. These are great quality too. I'd buy them again without a second thought. Great for the money. Only used them a half dozen times so far and feel I got my money's worth already. It will be a few more years before I use them up. Hopefully next time I wont wait so long.

Great way to avoid the dreaded box of dull drills. Cut nicely, straight, seem to be properly coated and will cut steel at least for a while. Only downside is that they are arranged in a weird order so you have to make some labels to know what is in which bin. The labels on the case are hard to see. Can't beat the piece price.

These bits are for wood and I recall "mild steel". My rating is on these criteria. They work fine on wood and soft metals. They won't scratch hard metals. The bits are pretty soft, and will bend/break with too much pressure. If you're only using them for wood they're fine.

I use these daily. I mainly purchased them for the smaller bits as its not uncommon to snap small drill bits or just flat out loose them during a project at work. When this happens i can just go grab another from this kit and it doesn't hurt like when i break or loose bits from my 200 dollar sets. I've even ended up using the larger bits commonly on softer or odd materials as im not as worried about them being sharp or having melted materials stuck to them.These are not to be confused with quality bits. This kit is NOT comprehensive and when i need a specific size or am drilling through harder materials i will fall back on my German made stuff but for quick holes in random stuff or tiny bits that i am not worried about replacing - this is a great value and time saver.
