The BT3 Mini PC cannot run linux OS as advertised. The seller says they will provide links to download software and instructions to load linux, but following these links, downloads, and lengthy instructions will NOT result in a fully functional linux system on the BT3 because the drivers for the sound and the WiFi are non-functional in linux. Seller should have verified running this for themselves before claiming the BT3 would be fully functional with linux OS. Instructions seller provided included reflashing the BIOS and then performing an OEM install of Ubuntu 16.04, but carefully following these instructions provided an Ubuntu installation in which there were no drivers recognized for the sound or the WiFi. Also, it took multiple requests to the seller to provide all the links to downloads and instructions, which ultimately did not work anyway. A very tiresome, frustrating, and futile experience in dealing with this seller and the manufacturer's website.

***receive update one year later*** so I had trouble with updates aboutI10 months ago, and could not get windows to update because the file or update was too big to load into this device! It finnally almost updated this morning, I was all in red saying critical update warning some things would start not working. So I stayed up all night waiting and retrying over and over. What it got me was the blue screen. It's pretty much garbage now. Lasted a year so I guess it was a good lesson atleast....,.......... Previous reveiw} from a year ago}}}}}}}}}}}. no storage space at all. I recomend getting a good usb, or micro sd. Mine has issues with the power button, it ussually will work by the 3rd or fourth time i press it, but never first try. The power button is disapointing. Other than that it works great plays videos perfectly, does anything i want and need it for. I like that it uses so much less energy, and the small size! Its amazeing. Comes with windows 10. I have it hooked up to my television via hdmi works great, i decided to use rhe external speakers function so i have the surround sound. Has 2 usb slots, a third usb it the side, 1 hdmi port, sd card slot and a audio jack. Only thing i worry about is the power button.

We bought 3 of these Mini-PC's to allow a customer to view & have full control access of their 16 channel NVR Camera System. After adding Logitech wireless keyboards with built-in touchpads we connected these to their TV's HDMI 2 inputs. These BT3's are decent performers and the customer is very happy that they got a fully functional PC on their TV's in addition to a camera monitor!

Product is exactly as described. I am using it as a web browser and to host my Plex media server. I replaced an old, but fairly beefy Linux desktop with it and have seen no increase in buffering or any instability. I spent some time weighing the extra RAM against the 35% premium and I am happy I ultimately decided to go for it. Won't play 4K @60hz smoothly, but does well below that. Overall great value.

Says in product title description; ...PC Support windows 10 & ***Linux*** System Intel Atom X5-Z835... I spent 10 hours trying to get Linux to fully function, never got any audio or wireless nor did the card reader work. Very disappointed as I was excited about a mini that was said to run Linux.

Everything was good except I could not get the HDMI audio to work after updating all software and drivers.

It is just as described in the ad and in the video reviews. For students and the average user, its the perfect product. I have only been using it for a week, but works great on what I have tested. Browsing, Office, Youtube, Social, etc....
