I ordered the EcoPure Filtration for removing sediment from our well water. Our water tastes great and the unit is easy to install and maintain. Price is right also.

Great product at a third of the price of the other filter housings. Don't be scared of the low price very sturdy unit.

My old Omni-Filter system started leaking. My old model is not available and there is nothing to replace it without modifying the plumbing. So, I bought one of these and had my plumber re-engineer the pipes and install this one. It leaked from the O-ring seal and after 3 attempts to get it to seal (using the instruction guide), I returned it for a replacement. I installed the replacement and it works as intended. I have since purchased another unit and extra O-rings for future use. An identical unit (and I do mean identical) except for the label) is sold by Brita for about $40 at Home Depot.

Flavor question depends on filter also. Best if installed inside or in closed place outside. They will get moldy if sunlight hits it.

Super easy to install really like the clear sump filter housing makes it easy to tell when time to change filter. Cleaned up house water pretty good. Eliminated sulfuric smell we were having & iron deposits in toilet. Additionally i added a R.O. under sink but this filter made a huge difference, & bypass in filter head is excellent feature. Good filter great price

This filter is used for a house that has a well. It seems to help out quite a bit.

Well packaged, arrived timely, and works as expected without any noticeable decrease in water pressure with installation and about a month's worth of use in a 2 person household for the month. Well designed and Installation was simple and straightforward. I would recommend this item. Used along with HDX HDX2CF4 Carbon Household Water Filters (2 pack) - 5 Micron Water Filter.

I bought two of these filters and plumbed them in parallel so I wouldn't restrict the flow and hopefully change both filters half as often. They work great but the mounting bracket hangs the filter body from the threaded end of the male pipe fitting. It prevents the male threaded adapter from going in all the way and it puts stress on the connection. The connections are very prone to leaking and you should use many wraps of thread tape to compensate. The filter body is a plastic female so you should only use a plastic male fitting and that may limit or add complication to your installation. My filters are leaking until I get time to reinstall them. I might try to make up my own hanger that doesn't give me that problem.

We bought this as our 3rd stage on our whole home water filtration system. Love the by pass switch which makes changing the filter much easier.
