These sticks work well in certain situations and are really a great idea. They have earned a permanent place in my quiver along with rods and nylon brushes. I play in a lot of situations where I need to get the just the right dynamics and playing feel for the venue and and music style. These were the missing link for electronic triggers mixed in and for tighter snare patterns than I was getting with wooden rods which I generally love for low volume work. These are less bright than rods and have a little less rebound. You can play with a little more force and still get low volume. They still have a small diameter unlike rods if that’s a factor for you. I personally love playing with rods so take what I’m saying here with that caveat. Their marketing is super confusing and the e-drum version has the same shaft and loop tip as the other models but crucially they are lighter overall and the weight difference comes entirely from the grip so the stick balance point is further up the stick. So think in terms of taper length on a normal stick. This will play into double stroke performance. The heavier normal version of the silent sticks are a little unbalanced but I like the overall weight. The e-drum stick weighs 28g and the normal stick is 38g. They are the same length at 16.5” which is an inch longer than a Vic Firth 7A. Hopefully that gives you some actual data to make a decision with.

I've never liked brush sticks so these are a pleasant surprise. Get a solid but muted sound from drums and cymbals. I only wish they had a little more weight to feel more like drum sticks. You'll want these in your cymbal bag.

Broke in the first 5 minutes on a mesh tom. And I am a gentle player with a jazz style. What kind of material is that? Ridiculous!

I use these with my electronic drum set as an alternative to brushes on the snare drum and they work flawlessly. They hold up very well. I have not broke one yet and have been using them occasionally for over a year.

It was good while it lasted. This was made well. At first I thought the tip would fall off because of how you can see how it was glued but it didn't. Sticks were also light. Downside is there's no way to clean the hollow inside of the stick after each use. Had to discard them due to mold started to form inside both sticks.

I've had a couple of drum machines with rubber pads and I've always hated the noise of the drum sticks on the pads, which sometimes is louder than the drum sound itself. Was very hesitant to buy these, based on some reviews but I'm glad I did because they are remarkably silent and the bounce on the pad is even better than regular sticks. They do look and feel a bit toyish and it requires a little adjustment with the light touch, but once you get used to them you can't put them down.

Je mets 5 étoiles pour la trouvaille, car depuis que j'ai ces baguettes, une batte en caoutchouc et des tapis anti vibrations, je peux enfin jouer sereinement dans mon appartement! Je prévoyais de créer une estrade, mais finalement plus besoin. Les baguettes ne sont pas parfaites, un peu légères, pour la qualité on verra dans le temps, et je ne joue pas exactement comme sur ma batterie acoustique mais je suis vraiment contente de cette trouvaille qui me permet d'utiliser ma batterie électronique.

The stick is very light and tip is flexible, thus reducing the impact/noise when hitting the pad. However, when I listen to my playing on headphone, the snare drums and all the tom pad become too soft relative to the crash/high hat. To compensate, I would have to hit the snare/tom much harder and this make it more tiring , but the snare hit tend to become a rim shot due to the stick flexibility when i hit harder with my usual stroke. Hitting harder also raise the noise level, though still softer than real stick. Can only use this for occasional playing when you really need to lower noise, can't use for regular practise on electronic drum as the playing sound different.

Sono un po’ più leggere delle bacchette tradizionali, ma mantengono una buona sensazione di controllo, e il diametro da 15,5 mm le rende molto vicine a una classica 5B – perfette per chi cerca equilibrio tra peso e maneggevolezza. Un altro aspetto che apprezzo molto è l’impugnatura: comoda, antiscivolo, e piacevole al tatto, anche dopo lunghe sessioni. Uso queste bacchette soprattutto per studiare a tarda sera, e fanno davvero la differenza nel contenere il rumore, senza perdere il feeling del drumming. In sintesi: ottima fattura, silenziose ma reattive, ideali per chi vuole esercitarsi senza disturbare vicini o conviventi. Assolutamente consigliate per chi suona su e-drum!

Cuesta un poco hacerse al peso y tacto, pero están muy bien. Resistentes y silenciosas.

Amazing product! Super lightweight and durable. Very quiet compared to real sticks. I use in on my Roland kit. Highly recommended.
