LOOK NO FURTHER FOR YOUR FIRST UKULELE!
If you are just starting out, and don’t want to spend $$$ just yet on a higher end ukulele, I highly suggest skipping the ultra cheap ukelele’s (and others in this price range) and going with this one.I originally bought my young son a very highly rated uke for about half the price. The action was too high, the strings were plastic and hurt his fingers, and it sounded like a toy. He played it once and lost interest.I returned it and bought this one for my son, and bought one for $100 more for myself of the same brand. This one sounds *better* than the more expensive one, and came with a decent gig bag. Plus, it has top quality strings already installed (Aquila’s are the way to go) and it’s going to be the best setup out of the box you can buy on Amazon. Every time my son plays I’m still amazed by the sound and quality of this uke. It’s fantastic. For a few days all uke’s will need very frequent tuning while the strings stretch out naturally. I have a little tuner that I clip to the top and it does the job, and I also have an app on my phone that works just as well.If you really enjoy playing and want to upgrade later on, I highly suggest buying a solid ukulele from a specialized seller. I bought one online from a very reputable store and they make all adjustments (adjusting the action, oiling the fretboard, and any other necessary minor tweaks) for free before shipping. It plays and sounds like a dream. You could also take to a luthier and get it done for ~$50.However, for a starter uke under $100 - or even $200 - you can’t do better than this one!!

Great ukulele!
I already have a concert sized Cordoba Protege and was excited to see this soprano uke on sale. It was easy to tune and remained close to pitch after initial tuning and playing. That's a rare thing! I've bought no less than 24 ukes (various brand names and off brands) for a classroom and have tuned several brand new ukes just this week. This one is beats them all. It is a quality instrument with a great sound! And it came with a lightly padded, zippered bag! I'm happy 😊

Quality is amazing for the price
It has amazing quality for the price. Clean finish, no chips, perfectly cut and smoothed edges and all. I am very happy with the purchase!I had bought more expensive ukuleles from other brands only to return them due to their poor quality.

Great sound
The sound is so clear and loud. I used one of those cheap plastic ukuleles and this is definitely an upgrade.

Great instrument for the beginner
I purchased this during a black friday deal. For the price I paid, it was a steal. It's comparable to my $80 ukulele. It's a budget but quality instrument. The ukulele arrived in a gig bag with padding sufficient enough for carefully toting around or car rides. The tuning pegs on the uke I received were a bit wobbly but after tightening them with a screw driver, they are fine. The action (string height) is at a nice low height, making it easy to play out of the box. It has a decent sound not at all like a toy. For the beginner or the casual player it's a decent enough instrument. My instrument came with sharp frets but I blame the very dry climate I'm in. If you buy this uke, you may need to address the sharp fret ends. You'll also need a tuner (instruments rarely arrive in tune nor stay in tune).

Plastic strings make it a little more toy-like than I hoped
Body of the instrument is nice, but strings are plastic. Was hoping for something a little nicer for the price. Works fine for my 7th grader to play around with.

Very Good
When reading this review please bear in mind that:-I don't have another ukelele to compare it with.-I paid less than twenty five pounds for this fine musical instrument. I see that the price today is nearly double, for some reason.-Ukelele is not my main instrument. This item was shipped in the manufacturer's cardboard box. It arrived with the top corner badly dented, and a couple of holes further down. Fortunately, there was no damage to the ukelele or its gig bag inside. The gig bag is decently padded and of OK quality, a bonus at this price. Two leaflets were included, one for care of the instrument, and one with tuning instructions and a couple of tunes to get you started. No other accessories were supplied.First impressions are very good. It is made of mahogany, or something very closely related to it, apart from the fingerboard which is made of a darker material. The finish is a matte varnish. The neck is straight and the frets are even, with smooth ends. The string height feels comfortable, and strings are easy to press down. All notes sound cleanly, with no string buzz. The open tuners operate smoothly. In terms of the sound, it rings out cleanly, and sounds rather better than I expected. It is certainly much better than the no-name toys that abound in this price range. In summary, this is a pretty good first ukelele, and I don't feel any desire to upgrade to a better one.

Pretty, but a bit rough
I was amazed to find a Cordoba instrument at £17.20 including a gig bag and Aquila strings, when my local discount retailer sells very, very basic ukes for £14.99. The retail price of this ukulele elsewhere is around £35; in many ways, I bought it out of curiosity, and because it has great reviews on Amazon.com.Sweet looking, with a pretty pearlescent rosette and tuning keys. It's even got a serial number! Mine has a couple of tiny rough patches around the edge where the back meets the sides, but the frets are smooth and well defined. However, the tone is jangly and not very pleasant, especially compared to my old Makala Dolphin, which also has Aquila strings. The action is higher than the Dolphin's, the body is about 5mm longer and I don't like it as much.I noticed that between my purchase and today, the price has increased by about 50p. I wonder if it will go up every time one is sold? If the price is below £25 and you want a cheap uke with a decent set of strings and a gig bag, then buy this over one that appears in you local Lidl/Aldi from time to time. If it gets up much beyond that, I'd advise looking at other big name entry level ukes.
