Good quality, it's a solid machined metal piece. There's a lot of height adjustment available.If using a frame, you can use M5x12mm screws to get the distance you need.

Update: seller was proactive and willing to compensate for the product fault. Sent me replacement screws with nuts.A slight improvement would be to have a longer screw and a nut between the frame and the bracket.

I live in a state which requires a license plate to be mounted at the front of the car. The plastic tape-in-place plastic bracket for holding a license plate to the front of my Tesla Model Y fell off, even though I'd been particularly careful in mounting the bracket to the car. It was annoying and not inexpensive to have to obtain replacement plates, thus I decided to use a bracket which provided a more positive means of attaching to the car. I chose this one after careful consideration of features of brackets available on Amazon, looking at their designs, and reading of reviews.This bracket is excellent. I like that the bracket has a frame which supports all of the perimeter of the license plate. The directions for installing it were clear. It was easy to install. It's very sturdy. It seems very well made. It looks good.Putting a screw into the bracket at a specific location prevents the bracket's latching mechanism from moving to the unlatch position. I use that screw to ensure the bracket doesn't inadvertently come loose. It works perfectly. The bracket is designed to be removable from the car by removing that screw. I have no reason to remove the bracket, so have not done so. I anticipate it would be easy to remove and then reinstall.

Seems decent. 4/5 star because I don’t feel like that screw will hold. Should have been designed to screw through. I put black zip ties around it as backup fail safe. Looks good on my 21 model y though

Solid frame that locks in tight. Looks great and easily centered. Makes it easy to install the front license plate without measurements. Great value for the quality.

The plate holder fits well to my 2025 model 3 highland long range. It took me a minute to install and the final result is beautiful! It’s made of aluminum with powder coating that prevents rusting. The lock and unlock system is quite simple but secured. Very satisfied with this product!

This is a really good product in terms of build quality. It's very sturdy and will likely hold up in any sort of minor accident. My initial review rated this a 3 star as I couldn't mount it onto the 2025 MX. The lock button would not expand wide enough to lock in place. After coming back and reading all the reviews I managed to figure out how to properly mount this plate holder on the MX. You need to tilt it at an angle when initially inserting it in between the grill before pushing down the button to lock it in place. The directions given is not very clear. It took some time for me to figure out how to properly mount it onto the 2025 MX. I also swapped the phillips screw the product included with M5-12mm screws as I attached a rubber plate protector around the license plate.
