Would rather eat tofu
Hi there, I'm a vegan trying to do collagen hacking for skin. Proline is the second most abundant amino acid in collagen, so I bought this as a precursor to collagen. I'm avoiding animal-derived collagen in my supplement routine, if you were wondering.Tofu is the best plant source of proline. Tofu is just soybeans with the carbs taken out. If you want whole soybeans, check out edamame in the freezer section. Edamame has the same amino acid make-up as tofu, but it's less protein by-weight because it's still got all of its fiber in it. (Animal products are also high in proline, but that's not relevant for me as a vegan.)Tofu has 1g of proline per 100g of tofu. The blocks in my refrigerator from Costco are 450g. Therefore, one block of Tofu provides 4.5g proline. Tofu is $1.50 per block at Costco, $3 per block everywhere else.At the time of this writing, this product is $0.08 for each 0.5g proline capsule. Matching the proline content of my tofu is nine capsules, totaling $0.72. That's half the cost of a block of tofu, and a block of tofu has much more than just the proline in it.I will not be replacing my bottle of proline when I'm finished with it.

Many capsules came empty.
The media could not be loaded. Many capsules came empty. So many! Some of them are disfigured and appear to have a hole in them. I bought 240 capsules, but I have much less than that. I tried to return, but this product does not accept returns. I would like an answer regarding this problem or I will never buy again, and I won't recommend it to anyone I know. Thank you!
