This product is brilliant. I've had 2 self heating mugs and both broke within a couple months. This is well designed and I'll buy a second one.

If you want your drink HOT, this might not be the mug for you. It keeps your drink a nice warm temp that is pleasant. Think warm latte not hot coffee. The build is nice it looks like a normal mug. What really drew me to this mug rather than some other product like an Ember or SmartMug is that it heated via wireless so there wasn't any exposed electronics. It can be washed as a normal mug. This mug keeps your drinks warm, and will do so ALL day. It's feels to be quality made and has a good feel in the hand. The pad does indeed charge your phone and I haven't had any issues. However other wireless charging pads do not work with it. It is important to note that even though the power cable is a USB-C type connection the cable SHOULD NOT be plugged directly into your phone or any electronics directly as it puts out 12 volts and will ruin your phone.

Leaving your tea to cool down until it's safe to drink but accidentally leaving it too long and ending up with a cold, useless cup of tea; is such a common first-world problem that it's basically a meme at this point. I do it so often that I was given this mug as a very thoughtful Xmas gift and it's the one gift I have used everyday since Xmas. It is SO helpful; no more wasted cups of tea, which is the perfect gift for a tea lover! The coaster gets hot enough to keep your tea at pleasant drinking temperature (especially when using the matching ceramic lid) but never dangerously hot. It also stops heating after an hour; so if you forget to take your cup off the coaster, you don't waste electricity by heating your forgotten cup all day. The design is simple, stylish and blends with contemporary furnishings. I've seen reviews where unfortunately people have had issues with cracks in their cups, however my cup and coaster seem perfectly robust with quality manufacturing. The fact that you can use the coaster to charge other wireless charging products is a great bonus. It works to charge my phone (iPhone 12 mini) and AirPods Pro, which is great when my charging cables are all being used for other devices, it's like having a spare charger disguised as a household item. The fact that it only takes up one plug socket but has multiple uses is very helpful! I was so happy with this product I bought more as gifts for other family members. Genius idea!
