My little man approves
A year and a half after my older male JRT passed, we expected his equally older female companion to pass, as she'd gone into a depression. To make the transition easier, we adopted a dog from the shelter while waiting for my Service Dog to go through boot camp.Turns out the puppy (now 9 months old) brought my older dog back to life. Too top things off, the 9 month old blue heeler x collie eats more and faster than the JRT's so there was no way he could continue eating out of their old bowls. When my Service Dog pictured above came in the picture, he could eat out od the smaller bowls but when his food quantity raised from half cup to 1 cup, to 1.5 cups I knew I'd need to get a new bowl for the new addition. For the most part, I like a good quality metal bowl that doesn't feel like flimsy aluminum. I also prefer the grip under the bowls to be built in so puppies cannot remove them or grime doesn't build up around the edges. These two bowls are perfect. My little man is bow eating 2 cups per meal twice a day and they fit in one of these bowls no problem. We use the other one for a traveling bowl if multiple dogs are traveling with us and I keep my former dogs smaller dish in the car so we always have a water bowl ready. These bowls are exactly what I wanted, and as you can see in the picture i provided, little man agrees. His entire head is in that bowl chowing down. For reference, at this time he is 5 months old and approximately 30 lbs. The border collie x blue heeler is 9 months old and approximately 45lbs and he could est out of these bowls fine if he didn't require a slow feeder. Good study material, built in silicone grip under bowl and easy to clean / store

Sturdy and Functional Dog Bowl Set with a Minor Design Preference - 4/5 Rating
I recently purchased the Gorilla Grip Stainless Steel Metal Dog Bowl Set of 2, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. This dog bowl set offers a sturdy and reliable feeding solution for both cats and dogs. The stainless steel construction ensures durability, rust resistance, and food-grade safety. The 8-cup capacity is generous, accommodating both dry and wet foods for pets of various sizes. The rubber base is a fantastic feature that prevents the bowls from sliding and provides stability during mealtime. It is effective in minimizing mess and spills, ensuring a more enjoyable feeding experience for both pets and their owners. The bowls are also relatively quiet, which is a bonus for those seeking a peaceful mealtime environment. However, I do share one minor design preference. While the rubber base offers excellent functionality, I wish there was more silicone included in the design to enhance the overall look of the bowls. A slightly larger silicone base or additional silicone details could elevate the aesthetic appeal, making the bowls even more visually appealing. In conclusion, the Gorilla Grip Stainless Steel Metal Dog Bowl Set of 2 provides a sturdy and functional feeding solution for pets. The rubber base prevents sliding and adds stability, while the stainless steel construction ensures durability and food-grade safety. Although a minor design preference for more silicone is noted, it does not hinder the overall performance of the bowls. I highly recommend this set for pet owners seeking reliable and practical feeding bowls.Sincerely,Mark

Nice quality
I like these dog bowls, and I think they look nice. The reason I gave only four stars is that my dog doesn't seem to like using them. She leaves a little food in her bowl instead of eating all of it; something she's never done before. She seems to not like having contact with the actual bowl. She also won't finish her water to the bottom of the bowl. It's as if she doesn't like the taste of it. I had to replace the food bowl with another one in order for her to finish her food. I'll try it again later. Maybe she just needs to get used to them.

Does not move
Our cat is a messy, violent eater. He usually spills all his food all over the place. We got him a mat to reduce the blast radius, but that didn't seem to do the trick. These bowls keep him from tipping the food everywhere. There's still a blast radius, but it no longer looks like a food nuke around his bowl.

Still slides but otherwise good product
I have a nonslip food bowl and was hoping to get more but this product does slide around on our laminate floor. Another bowl I have is grooved which prevents most slipping and this product is not. Handles dishwasher well.

Itβs a dog bowl
Yep, its a dog bowl, and its nice to have the bowls stay in place because of your dog is like mine, their bowls generally end up all the way across the room, or become trapped underneath something. These are durable, stay in place, and are big enough for my baby boyβs. π I would highly recommend this product, just remain cautious with ordering the correctly sized bowls, I am no good at shopping online so the first time I accidentally ordered sizes way too small. But I have very large dogs, so I would definitely recommend the largest size bowl they manufacture if you also have very large dogs like myself. ππ»ππ»π€π»ππ»

My own fault.
I will be returning these only because I bought the wrong size. Besides that they feel like excellent quality so I will probably rebuy in the right size.

Would have been greatβ
These would have been great had they been the bigger size but they are amazing! We had problems with the German shep mix pup constantly moving the food bowl but a larger size up will be needed in these for a dog bigger than 20 lbs.
