Buena Herramienta, Requiere ser afilada
La herramienta es de calidad buena, a pesar de ser económica. Solamente requiere ser afilada en la parte donde se pone el alma, ya que con la punta que viene no es posible propiamente perforar el alma.

Poor quality, might be OK for fiddle or viola
This is a very low quality tool; though, I'm not complaining or surprised, since it cost me under $6. It will not come close to working to move/reset the sound post on my upright basses. The sound posts on my basses are about 3/4" in diameter, where this tool looks like it's for 5/16" diameter or less. Also the length is not nearly sufficient for getting to the bottom of a bass, and maybe not even a cello.I was skeptical when buying this, but was hoping to have a very inexpensive one to keep in my bass bag just in case I need it again. It would probably be sufficient if it was about twice the size, and the notches were for a 3/4" sound post. The more I look at this thing, the more I think I might buy a much better one. A better one will probably be built heavier and give more control when adjusting the sound post. Also, the tip on this one would probably have to be re-ground to make it sharp enough for use.Anyway, I'll give it 2 stars because it's not a good tool, but it's probably good enough for most people who don't work on these things professionally.

I am no luthier
I am no luthier but I needed to reinsert a sound post after I dislodged it tuning a seldom used violin forgetting it was strung and tuned as a viola. My bad. I ordered this thing which all the pro luthiers i have been to use but for the life of me I could not figure out how to use it. Instead I got an Aven 18400 Curved Serrated Forcep with Lock, Stainless Steel, 6" Length from Amazon and then tied a thin string to the sound post with a clove hitch used to keep the post near the tweezers. I grabbed the post with the tweezers and could position it fairly easily. I could then reach the clove hitch with the tweezers to grab one coil allowing it to be removed easily. I wanted to play a few fiddle tunes for the grandchildren at Thanksgiving and it worked fine with the repositioned post. The builder, a friend, had marked where the post should go. Yes I know a small fraction of a mm can make a huge difference in sound but as a folkie I'm not that fussy that I need to spend $200 every month or two for a pro tuning.

Dipende dall'uso
Il ferro è molto debole e si piega facilmente, inoltre è poco rifinito e i bordi sono leggermente ruvidi, consiglio di mettere qualcosa intorno per non rovinare il legno del violino. Comunque per un uso sporadico fa il suo lavoro.
