Root Perfection Root Touch-Up Kit – 4N Brown, 2 Applications

I’ve tried a lot of at-home root touch-up products, and the Madison Reed Root Perfection Root Touch Up Kit – 4N Spoleto Darkest Brown is by far one of the best. The color match was rich, natural-looking, and blended seamlessly with my existing dark brown hair — no harsh lines or flat tones. Most importantly, it delivered exactly what it promised: complete gray coverage on stubborn roots around the hairline and temples. The kit was easy to use, with clear instructions and everything neatly included. I appreciated that the formula didn’t have the overwhelming chemical smell that many boxed dyes do, and my hair felt soft and healthy afterward instead of dry or damaged. What really impressed me was how salon-quality the results looked. The color came out dimensional and shiny, not overly dark or artificial. It covered my grays evenly in one application and lasted beautifully until my next touch-up. Madison Reed makes amazing products. It covers gray well. It's easy to use. It's fast. What else can you ask for? But definitely wear the gloves and use a barrier cream if you have one. This stained my fingers and my fingernails. It also stained my pink brush.

I wanted to believe that I finally found a product that I wasn't going to get a reaction to ...first night it was great beautiful coverage (of greys) and then next morning I woke up with the redness and stabbing on my scalp...this was done fri ...Saturday redness and rashes...sun am woke up with the whole side of my face swollen ..never that bad from a dye before and I only did my "t zone" as it was only a root touch up kit...I've tried everything from henna to any formulas without ammonia ppd and sulfate..I just don't know what else will work ..I should have done a patch test that was my mistake ..but being I read the reviews and nome had reactions I figured I would try ;( not for me

If you don't like to waste space or products, then you will like this root touch up. It contains 2 for a quick touch up before a shower. The ingredients are good and the color is great. Don't be discouraged by the price as you are getting two colors to use on two separate instances. Very economical. And I appreciate that. I was using a root touch up from a different brand but prefer this one because of the quality products it has inside the box. You get a brush and a bowl and everything is placed in the box carefully. It feels like a salon touch up versus you just doing it at home.

I love the color and the easiness of use, i don't like the price. I have HARD to color white hair. It only lasts 2 weeks at most on my white hair at my temples, but on the top of my head it stays for a full month. I guess it varies by person. the smell/odor is okay. Not great but doesn't stink either. Nice packaging and great gloves! I don't like the price but it is nicer than drugstore box color. Cheaper than the salon.

Excellent quality

I take after my mom and started growing silver hair in my 20’s. Now that I’m nearing 40, the silver has gotten worse and I have to dye my roots every 2-3 weeks (in between salon visits) which has severely damaged my hair. I decided to try Madison Reed and it’s the best hair color I’ve ever used! I’m currently on week 3 and my silver is still covered! It’s so fast, so easy, and works great!
