Fit my craftsman 1/2 hammer drill perfectly. Had contacted Jacobs Chuck for a replacement and went round and around, and they’re quite expensive. Saw this (close out) and took a chance for $10. Perfect fit. Seems sturdy enough, have not used it yet (read reviews re: made in China etc), so it may not hold up forever, but it’s a Jacobs chuck for 1/4 the price.

needed a chuck to fit on threaded motor arbor adapter , chuck holds my giraud tri-way trimmer, trimmed over 1,000 brass cases and chuck holds it tight. works fine for my use. at least 4 hours total run time on chuck , not same comparison as drill use but i am satisfied.

I used this drill chuck to convert an old machine that would only hold a specific drill bit to hold any drill bit. It worked very nicely. It was relatively inexpensive or I might have never converted his machine.

I have a year old 18v Milwaukee fuel drill. Broke the chuck on it somehow so it would no longer tighten down. I bought this to replace it and it fit perfectly and will definitely hold onto anything you put in it. Comes with a key. Seems very well built and like it will last for a while. Wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Printed a handle and turned this into a manual reaming tool for printed parts. The quality isn't great, the action was a bit gritty at first probably due to not being cleaned of chips prior to assembly but has gotten smoother with use. Works fine for my purposes but don't expect high quality at this price point.

Mechanism Feel pretty gritty. Can’t argue too much with the price. Will work fine for our auger bits.

I ordered this to replace the useless KEYLESS chuck that came with my Dewalt DC720 cordless drill. Delivery time was very good and packaging was sufficient. It fit my cordless drill with no problems at all. The jaws on this chuck are far superior to the original crap supplied with the drill. I use this drill daily on a professional basis and generally don't bother with the key. You might want to be wearing gloves when you do this:) It grabs even a 1/8" and smaller drill bit without slipping. When I get into a heavier drilling demands, the key helps my drill work the way it never did before, with no slippage at all. Works out way cheaper than buying a new drill with another useless keyless chuck.
