My husband and I love this devotional! We like reading through the chapters together and answering the questions at the end together. Brings up good conversation to reconnect during the busy season of life with work and kids.

This study is easy to read and really good conversation! There are a couple parts that are a little cheesy but that can be overlooked for the quality of the rest of the content! We are really enjoying doing it!

This is an excellent devotional for married couples - and we’ve read many. The Lusko’s are so likable - which makes it feel like you’re getting counseling from a good friend. There is a lot of humor woven into each chapter - and their stories and experiences are very relatable!We haven’t been married long, so some of the questions are “too far back” for us, but they’re still very thought provoking and gives us great conversation around things to come or guard against. My husband still thanks God for our coming together using Jennie’s doll house analogy (p. 4).The Lusko’s deal with the major topics of marriage, the ones you must humble yourself on, pride and intimacy, and the fun, but often minimized ones, why it’s so important to have a robust sex life in marriage! We highly recommend this devotional for couples wanting to dig deep into the Word and into their relationship.

This marriage devotional book has been an absolute game-changer for our relationship. Its insightful and practical guidance has helped us navigate the ups and downs of married life with grace and understanding. It has strengthened our bond and brought us closer than ever. Highly recommended!

We absolutely love Levi and Jennie Lusko. They pastor Fresh Life church well. They are kind and loving; funny and encouraging. And most of all they call out real truths and don’t hesitate to say hard things. They admit marriage is a challenge and one that we all have to work at, but they also give some amazing tools, questions, and Biblical backing to why we are called to serve our spouse well. From that relationship and our union with God, we overflow into our children, work and others. Each devotion is a mini-sermon that spoke to my heart, I sometimes couldn’t put it down and kept reading ahead. Definitely was able to pull so many good lessons and sparked some great conversations with my husband. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone that is married, engaged, or just wanting to learn more about the in and outs of marriage. Amazing book! Will read again and encourage you to grab a copy also!

So far I appreciate the accountability, myth busting and introspection this devotional hits on. I like how well as a couple they have written each chapter with the voices of each partner in the relationship.

This book has been difficult at time because it has made us talk about the past and answer deep, thought provoking questions. There were times when I was resisting doing it even though I bought us the book. I knew this was the enemy trying to create a bigger wedge. This book was what we needed to go deeper, to work through things, to share feelings that we have kept to ourselves, to show us how far we have come and where God is taking us next. We are about halfway through this devotional and we haven’t been doing it daily, but it (along with God) is transforming our marriage because we have openly shared feelings, asked additional questions and our hearts have been softened and revealed to one another. We just celebrated 20 years of marriage and it’s the best it’s ever been!(We also run a business and a family together. Taking the time to ask, listen, share and pray more together has changed how we see each other and that makes it worth it!)
