Good and sturdy. Although this is not a fancy cane, it has its own rustic charm. The woodgrain is lovely. The "handle" sits comfortably in my hand.Mine was about 36 inches long, so I cut it down to 34 inches. Now it's perfect.I plan to use it on long walks, when the arthritis in my foot bothers me. I'm looking forward to longer walks in the park AND looking fashionable with a nice sturdy cane. And if I'm attacking by a bear or something I can defend myself lol 😂😆

Handle snapped as soon as I put pressure on it. Not happy

Bought for my brother after his hip replacement surgery (age 41, 320#, teen car accident damage). It certainly looks cool, and the pictures are a realistic representation of what you get. High quality stick and lacquer. The stick tapered down to about a half inch in the bottom foot, but flexion was minimal even with all my weight (240#) on it. Unfortunately, the 37" option was too short for him. Brazos has a 40" option on their website, but not on Amazon. I would suggest buying a longer one, then trimming the bottom to fit. Their customer service was quick to respond and great advising me. They were also helpful with the return. =( Sad, because it was a nice and very cool accessory, if you need a walking cane.

The walking stick is lightweight and very good looking.
