I've tried at least 5 or 6 different fountains for my pets, and I can confidently say that this one is far better than the alternatives I’ve used. It has a large capacity, which helps keep the water very fresh for longer durations. One of the standout features is how extremely easy it is to clean; both the filter and the pump are simple to assemble and maintain compared to other brands I’ve encountered. Another great aspect of this fountain is that I've had no issues with scum or mold buildup, which is often a problem with other types. The separate drinking bowl also contributes to keeping the water cleaner for a longer time, making it more enjoyable for my cats. The accompanying app is fantastic, and my cats absolutely love using the fountain. Excellent product - easy to clean, use and maintain. Almost silent - definitely the best I have ever purchased. Large capacity for more than one pet. App very helpful to keep on top of maintenance with reminders. Great value for money.

Good water filter fountain, definitely needs cleaning weekly due to the filter itself releasing a black soot like material once it’s ready to be changed. Water flows gently from the top, not rapidly or high which some may like. The cat’s favourite this over the other fountain we have. The water fountain stopped flowing after a few months. The pump seemed to stop working, so I got a new pump but that did not resolved the issue. I reached out to the company whom took me through a lengthy and frustrating processes to prove fault to them, but ended up resolving the issue after a few weeks, it’s unclear how but the issue seemed to be within the filter pump. The app comes in handy to identify cleaning frequency and faults.

I wished I had bought this sooner, easiest one of the best purchases in our house. The product design is amazing, reminds me of apple product. So neat, tidy and the attention to details is just top notch. It’s a pleasure to unbox it, install it and to use it. What really amazed me is how clean it keeps the water. I wash it and change filter etc flooring the app reminder. I am so surprised to see literally there is nothing to clean which shows how well the filter system works. I’ve used petmate for years and just wished I never bothered about that product which always appears dirty after a few days of cleaning. I literally can’t rave about this product enough. If you have any doubt investing in one of these, stop thinking and just get one. I love the app too. So user friendly. It gives you a little reminder for adding water, changing filter, cleaning etc. you can also set how often you want to run the filtering cycle. My cats took 2 a day or two to get used to it but they love drinking from it now.

Smelly, dirty water after just one day. Uvc light is barely visible at all - Petkit support informed me this is standard! Considering a replacement but there’s no spout or flower which means cats are dunking their chins into the basin, a lot…..

Initial Issue: However, the first unit I received had an issue where it did not detect a water shortage. This was a concern as it could potentially run dry, which isn’t ideal for maintaining the pump’s longevity or ensuring my cat always has water. Customer Service: The customer service was exceptional. Upon contacting them about the issue, they were prompt and very helpful. They facilitated a return without any hassle, and I was able to order a replacement unit. Resolution: The new unit arrived quickly and, unlike the first one, it accurately detects water shortage. This added feature has made a significant difference, and now I can rest assured that the fountain will alert me when it needs a refill. Conclusion: Despite the initial problem, I am very happy with the PETKIT Cat Water Fountain. The product works beautifully, and the customer service experience was excellent. If you encounter any issues, rest assured that they will be resolved efficiently. My cat and I are very satisfied with this purchase, and I highly recommend it.

The thing that normally puts me off these cat fountains is the cleaning, but not this one as its super easy to clean, and the motor is powered through induction so no wires when you go to wash it. The build quality of this thing is fantastic, like if Apple made a cat fountain. You can literally submerge the whole 'bucket' in water for cleaning and the motor together - the filter replacements are also very very easy top replace. The water is additionally filtered by UVC light to remove pathogens and further filter the water. I can tell you that our cats only love this one and will not drink any other water source anymore so it passes the fussy test. The sound is like a slight tinkling of water, like a babbling brook - very nice to fall asleep to. When you don't hear the babbling brook noise its probably time to fill it up with water again.
