This is alright. Not super high quality, but useable. Make sure you check your mic's diameter where you want it to be held.

The mic I wanted this for, an MXL 4000, was at the upper range of the listed diameters this mount would accommodate, so I was nervous whether or not it would fit. Fortunately, there was more than enough room, so the range of mics this could work for is pretty good. The four screw clamp/posts held the mic very securely, and took a number of turns before they even loosened when taking the mic out. The only downside is that the shock absorption is done through semi-flexible plastic rather than elastic or some such material. As a result, the actual low-end attenuation is rather negligible. Granted, I gave it a somewhat extreme test of banging and stomping, but still, I didn't notice much of a difference with or without. Still, the main issue I was hoping to solve with this was just having a viable mount for the mic, since I got it secondhand and never had its included shock mount. Low-end rumble hadn't ever been a real issue I needed to solve, so this is acceptable.
