Better grip when wet, not worse. Worth the money twice over, and sustainable.
I sweat a lot, like, a whole lot. In 4 years of practicing yoga, I’ve tried quite a few mats between my own and friends’, pretty much all the major brands, and this hands down, without a single doubt, the best there is. The company’s marketing is not lying when they say it gets more grippy when wet. By the end of a 90 minute practice I can have pools of sweat on the mat and other than the grossness of it, the performance of the mat isn’t impaired. This increase in grip is to a point that I sometimes drizzle some water onto it before a class to get the grip going from the start. I have no doubt in the anti microbial properties of cork as well-I’m terrible about cleaning my mats-they’re most often biohazards-but this one doesn’t smell at all. A quick wipe with some diluted Castile soap or a spray with the garden hose is sufficient for cleaning. If I had to be critical of the mat at all, I’d say that it’s different from others in that you have to roll it in one direction only to protect the cork upper layer’s adhesion to the backer, and you don’t want to stuff it in a locker because it can crease (after the 2 times I’ve done this, the crease has disappeared by the next day but ymmv). You may want to be a little more gentle with this mat than others, but I may only feel that way because it’s pricey and I love it so much. On that note-it is an expensive mat, no doubt, but I’d imagine their cheaper mats are awesome as well, and this one is worth every single penny twice over. I’m 6’ 3” 215lbs and it stays put on all floor surfaces just fine.

Cork surface for my best practice in all conditions
I’ve been using another brands yoga mat for years and although I would recommend them to anyone needing a great yoga mat I will also be recommending the Yoloha mat as well. The Yoloha is the first cork mat that I’ve used. The grip I get when doing hot yoga is the best I’ve ever got from any mat. This is the main reason I would recommend this mat. Other reasons are that cork is a unique surface, that I personally find appealing to do my practice on, made in the U.S. is big for me as a Union electrician ‘I buy American’!! Enough said. There may be other cork mats out there but Yoloha is now my go to for my practice! Namaste

Premum mat built from sustainable materials
You can find cheaper mats but this Yoloha mat is made with very grippy and absorbent materials and it feels good knowing that the mat isn't made from petro-chemicals or plastics...It's a quality item, not a throw away...you'll never regret investing in such a mat....I always feel great working out on it..

Disappointed
I purchased this mat based on reviews that praised it's use for hot yoga, and managing moisture, and non-slip qualities. Th non-slip quality is accurate. However, I purchased the mat on June 29th, and already see cracking in the cork, as it is separating from the rubber layer. For a mat that I have used for less than 5 month, this does not demonstrate quality. Before writing this review, I sent an email to the manufacturer on their company website, asking about this issue. It has been 2 weeks, and no response at all. So disappointing.

Phenomenal grip wet or dry. Not super comfortable though.
This mat is simply amazing in its grip, wet or dry. Having said that, it’s not the “softest” mat and the edges are “sharp.” The cork has a bit of grainy texture to it that you do feel. If you’re doing a non-flow class where a lot of time is spent on your back on the mat I would probably use a different mat and a mat towel. For flow, however, this mat is quite good. It is on the heavy side too. UPDATE - I’ve since stopped using this mat and switched to a Liforme mat.

Best Yoga Mat Ever !!!
Best Mat I have ever used. I practice hot Vinyasa at least five times a week and I sweat like a water buffalo in Africa. I was so tired of using yoga towels and constantly doing laundry. I used this yoga mat and the more that I sweat, the more grip I had. My search for the perfect yoga mat is over!!!!

As advertised
Working well so far (~2 months). Good grip. Dries well/quickly. Comfortable. Two notes: needs a little water misted for best grip of hands/feet aren’t sweaty yet, and takes a little getting used to how the surface feels coming from a rubber mat.Overall, very pleased.

Great Yoga Mat-Blemished though
I could have saved 10% buying direct from manufacture but decided to go with Amazon for guaranteed delivery. Mat came with a couple of blemishes, not happy about that at all. For the price, my expectation is perfect.
