Nice & warm & fit well

Bought these socks as they are classic biker socks. I'd been looking for a good pair for quite some time, saw these, read the reviews and thought I'd take a punt.I'm 6ft 2" with size 10.5 feet and so I bought the socks based on that.The overall make of the socks is good and they fit my feet but when I went to put them on, like some of the other reviewers have said, they are a very tight fit; even without going over my thermals and jeans. Anyhoo I persevered and eventually got them over my jeans etc, put my boots and eventually got them to sit over the top.They are tight, hopefully the more I wear them the better they will fit, and I would say they deserve 4/5. If they had been a bit more generous in the tube of the sock they would have got the elusive 5 stars but hey ho you can't have everything!BTW ignore my boots; they are comfy as fek!

Good boot socks. Ideal for welly boots

As a builder. Warm good socks are a must in winter. I'll keep it brief. I chose these over the Norwegian tagged socks I usually buy. Mistake. No where near as good and after a dozen wears it's obvious they'll be done in four months max.

I decided on these as I wanted long socks that would reach my knees. (For english civil war re-enactment) and these do just about do that as they measure about 18 inches from the heel to top of the sock. (I am 6ft 1in tall) The only minor issue I have is that the first order wasn't correctly supplied. I have 10.5 size feet and although I ordered the large size (10-12) the medium size (8-10) were delivered. However as they just about fitted ok I decided to keep them rather than send them back. I hope they don't shrink in.the wash!. The quality is good so I ordered a second pair which arrived correctly sized.
