I like this product very much. It takes sulfate and other impurities out of the wine. It works best with white wine I noticed.

You can’t go wrong with Ullo. I also have the hard plastic Ullo wine filter. I actually prefer this one because it is easier to get apart when you want to clean it. The plastic one gets wine stain. Definitely worth it. I have tried the wine stirs. They change the taste of wine for me. Ullo does not change the taste and does work. I have had sulfite allergies for many years and with this product I can drink wine again. The filters are not cheap but to be able to drink wine again is priceless.

I have the burgundy colored product and it came apart fine for the first 3 months but now I can't pry it apart to change the filter. Very frustrating.Update: I now coat the inner plastic part with butter and that lets me change out filters without difficulty.I also keep it in the fridge now, in a cup inside a gallon baggie, so the butter doesn't go bad. Then wash the entire unit every month or so.As far as how it clarifies the wine, that part is excellent.The taste of the wine is improved, and with moderate drinking there is no headache the next day.

Filtering is good (no more sulfite headaches) but once you unscrew the bottom to remove it for thorough cleaning, its almost impossible to get it back on the right way so everything is lined up right. The plastic threading on the bottom is very poorly made and it doesnt screw back together right. The filters are expensive and only good for 1 bottle so you ll need to order a lot more. Its not worth the $60 price at all.

I love wine but haven’t drank any in years because I would get an instant migraine after just one glass. I gave this a shot and I had about three glasses with no headache or a hangover the next morning. The instructions said it’s best to run the wine through twice but the filter doesn’t seem to be able to handle that. I noticed about halfway through filtering one bottle it started to become really slow and it took about ten minutes to filter just one bottle but I was patient and I’m glad I was. I poured the wine through a second time without the filter just to aerate one more time and it was great. The filters aren’t terribly expensive and breaks down to about $2 per bottle filtered but it’s well worth it so I can drink wine again without the nasty side effects. I also love that it comes with a case and a cover for the filter. It’s super simple to clean when you’re done too. Highly recommend.

I love wine, but it doesn't love me. Even with a small amount, I'm prone to a severe headache the next day. This filter has been a huge game changer. I didn't know that I was reacting to sulfites. Now, I can drink as much filtered wine as I want and not worry about getting a hangover/headache the next day. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy wine again!

So far I’ve only tried this with three bottles of wine, all different brands and one of them ran through a second time, and will update the review if I actually come across something positive.There was absolutely no change to the amount of stuffiness and headache I felt after drinking the filtered wine, and not even overindulging! I do not recommend.

My biggest problem with this device is the cost and especially the cost of replacement filters which are more than double competition. Just does not make any sense. Only comes with 3 filters and not even a discount coupon. In addition, I have had problems with this device and surprised reviews are as positive as they are. It is hard to take the top piece off - others have commented on this and that seems to be a problem with the design. However I also had problems with wine leaking out the aeration setting hole when using with the filter with not even much volume of wine. I will check with manufacturer on this and report back.
