Perfect for my needs!
I live in a fraternity house where it is extremely loud -- kind of like a rock concert almost every night from 10 PM to 2 AM. During this period I usually need to sleep, especially since I am an engineer and have difficult classes, exams, etc.I have tried many, many earplugs. These 35 dB are the strongest ones I have ever worn. They're also more comfortable than any other I've tried--and I've tried 10+ different kinds from Mack's, to Flents, to Howard Leights. None of those have been strong enough nor comfortable enough for me.One last thing -- these do not stay in my ear the entire night. I wake up with these out of my ears. However, this is PERFECT for my needs! I only need the quiet from 10 PM to 2 AM to sleep. Other earplugs like Mack's stayed in my ears all night, but would hurt my ears tremendously. Often I would wake up at 4-6 AM with horrible ear pain and have to remove the earplugs and then go back to bed. These simply fall out of my ear during the night after the music is off in the fraternity house. It is as I said perfect for my own needs. Your needs may differ. If you want the strongest that stay in your ear, I would recommend Mack's Ultra Soft 32 dB...but those are not good for me personally. Those stay in my ear and cause serious ear pain when I wakeup.I'm gonna stick with AMAZKER's 35 dB forever!

They block sirens!
I live in midtown Manhattan right by Time Square and if you're familiar with this area, you would know there is a fire station that runs 24x7. What's even better is that the station is half a block from my apartment building. On many Saturday nights I was waken up at 1am, 2am or 3am by deafening sirens accompanied by crazy honks from drunk drivers. They were endless nightmares and over and over again they drove me nuts. I started searching for earplugs not counting on them to completely block the siren but at least reduce it to a level that I could tolerate. Then I found these on Amazon, tested them on a Saturday night when sirens sang again. After the earplugs bounced back and filled my earhole, I could barely hear the sirens any more!! It was incredible, way beyond my expectations!!Personally I do not find wearing them super comfortable, but I also think this is exactly why they have such impressive sound blocking effect: The earplugs generate a pressure on the inside of my ears => not super comfy but that leaves barely any gaps for the sound to get in. I would not wear them on a relatively quiet evening, but on siren-chorus nights, I really don't mind the minor discomfort wearing them... I just want to go back to my peaceful slumber not disturbed by screaming sirens, and these earplugs do the job!!Thank you, to whoever put them on Amazon. And thank you Amazon for carrying these life-saving earplugs.

Inflammation, bleeding and pain in your canal
After using these earplugs for two weeks now, I have had increased inflammation, bleeding and soreness in both ear canals without the advantage of noise blocking rating that these earplugs profess. I have had to make a choice between pain all night with use or hearing the noises that I wish to block without them, and I choose the noises because the pain in my ear is so unbearable and the sleep - not so quiet and peaceful. I properly insert them, they don't fall out of my ear but I cannot sleep on them either way. I have tried breaking them in in one ear, using one already broken into one of my more sensitive ear, and it just isn't working any better. I have used several earplugs on the market including Hearos, Macks Slim fit, drift to sleep, fleets quiet please and these were my last try and I am quiet disappointed with them even though I really wanted to like them.

Great earplugs that work really well
So far, these are the best earplugs I have tried. I put them in my ears, and a minute later, I can't hear the fan at the foot of my bed. I live in a poorly constructed apartment building with an upstairs neighbor that sounds like King Kong on a rampage. These earplugs are able to keep me asleep through most of his loudness. The next best thing to these earplugs would be getting out of my lease and getting a house; until then, these earplugs will be key to maintaining my sanity.

Good but I still need more..
I picked these up because they had the highest noise reduction rating I've seen so far without going to some awful hard plastinc. I've always had a problem sleeping because I can hear everything. Just to explain, even with average earplugs I can still hear cars outside, floors creek, etc... Being a very light sleeper I have been wearing earplugs for many years. I would imagine that because of that my ear canals have also changed and finding ear plugs that cancel noise increasingly difficult. These have worked pretty well. They are better than anything I have been picking up from larger everyday stores

I would steer clear!
I have been wearing earplugs to sleep at night for years and I recently ran out of the random old kind I was using so I bought these. I like the packaging and I appreciated the little travel case that came with them, but I just cannot give these a good review. My issue is that these earplugs just don't fit my ears. If I had to guess it would be because these are slightly conical, while the old kind I used were more cylindrical. I had to really put them in deep to get a seal in my ears. Besides that, the earplugs themselves are MUCH stiffer than the old ones I had. Long story short, after a couple nights wearing these my ear canals were inflamed and they actually began to make my ears bleed a little!!! I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try and squeeze them a while the "break them in", but it was no good and my ears continued to be inflamed and bleed. I don't think of myself as having particularly sensitive ear holes, but what do I know? My advise is to only go with these if you aren't going to be wearing them for long.
