Good and bad:
Bought the Widex Evoke 440F2 RIC Digital for $4600 plus $1000 for a couple visits to assess hearing, fitting, etc. Very expensive. They work much better for me than the Oticon Agil Pro miniRite, for $6400 back in 2011. The Widex has a much louder output at highest settings, which I need. But the Widex web site is very frustrating. My hearing aids required that I download firmware updates, I did, then they kept demanding (via Android interface app) that I download firmware updates, over and over. I FINALLY figured out that EACH hearing aid must be Bluetooth linked as a separate device and EACH must have the download. Details like this are IMPORTANT! Why is there NO INFO on this on the web site? Operating them is very counter-intuitive. The Android interface is pretty bad. I complained about the download problem to the web site, now can't get back into the area where the complaints are listed. But day-to-day operation is superior to the Oticon, which was 8 years old and getting very glitchy. Lesson: Do NOT damage your hearing! When it's gone, it's really gone. Hearing aids help but they don't cure the loss. Too late for me.
