Dock Edge + iCart Dockside Pneumatic Tires

We use this at our summer cottage and have really liked it. The marina where we dock our boat has several by the same manufacturer that have inflated tires and they are always having problems keeping them inflated. Knowing that, I bought the hard rubber tires and haven't had any problems. One word of advice, however, they are tippy, so you need to be aware of balancing the items you put in the cart. It's a great size for carrying 20 lb. propane tanks, 5-gallon has tanks, and anything else you need to transport. I hesitated for a while because of the price, but now that we have it, it was well worth the cost.

I wanted a smallish size 2-wheel cart for maneuvering on a narrow dock ramp and this is the perfect size. I wouldn’t call it heavy duty but expect it will last a while. I got the solid tire model and tires appear to be good quality. The support leg is a little higher than I would like and I wish it was adjustable. I may attempt to modify it.

The removable tub is a great idea up smaller than I expected. Rear leg should be a little shorter so you don't have to lift the handle so high.

I should've bought the solid tire model. The tubes and tires are very cheap and I had a problem with the tires staying on the rim. I bought new tires and tubes and the tires still came off the rim.

The first time I used this cart, both tires went flat while it rested on the dock for about 8 hours during which I was out in the Gulf fishing. I should point out that he cart came with a warning sheet "do not over inflate tires." which I was careful to follow. I tried to re-inflate the flattened tires with a hand pump, which did not work. Given the failure on its first assignment, and the difficulty with trying to correct the problem, and the dire warning about over inflation (but no recommended pressure level)nI returned the item and ordered a cart (about $15 more) with solid wheels. It is working just fine. I should add that I tried to find contact info on the manufacturer, to see if there was a fix...perhaps tubes for the tires. A Google search came up blank, and I could not find a way on the Amazon site - somehow I think Amazon may have a way to contact the seller, but I could not easily find it. The cart with solid wheels with which I am pleased is the Polar Trailer 8376 Utility Cart, 60 by 27 by 32-Inch. I rarely write reviews, though I order from Amazon almost daily. I depend on reviews for my purchases, so I felt responsible to write this one. I do love the convenience, pricing, and customer service (though you never get to talk to anyone) of Amazon.

Carries 10 gallons of gas with no problems!!

The cart was easy to put together, however it's diminutive size makes it impractical for a Dock Edge Cart. It may be able to be used to bring a few smaller items to your boat slip. However if you have a lot of stuff you will have to take several trips.
