Snuffle mat looked exactly like the picture. It was an immediate hit with our dogs. It washes in the washing machine with no problem and seems to be durable. Both cute and functional. Our dogs love it.

I like the concept . My dog is 11 lbs .. wish I would have knew it was this size I would have ordered the bigger one… although she seems to love it so far. Recommend this for dogs, just note the size of dog compared to which one ordered.

The media could not be loaded. My little dog loves this (see video). I'd say it's for dogs under 13 pounds because the felt is soft. Very colorful and washes easily. The pieces are constructed to hold the kibble really well. The only thing I'd like is for the backing to be stiffer so it would stay on my lap better when I'm filling it up.

My 16 year old dachshund is blind and mostly deaf, so he depends on his senses of smell and taste and touch to find his way around. We got him this because it uses all of those senses and engages him to find his food rather than just eat out of a bowl. I think he enjoys this mat a lot. My cats even try to find food he leaves behind in it when he's done. My shih tzus sniffed around and found a few pieces the first time, but have ignored it since. I don't think they like the feeling of the mat on their flat faces. But as long as the weenie got we got it for is happy, we are happy too.

So my dog really liked this the first time, but it probably only kept him busy for 10 minutes and as he used it more and more, he became less interested in it so it just wasn’t for us. The only reason I gave it less than four stars is because the food does get really trapped in the crevices, and if your dog doesn’t find them, shaking it out is not enough because I shake it pretty vigorously and ended up finding food still stuck in the crevices and that worries me as far as mice, so you have to be really particular about making sure all the treats are gone .
