Worked very well on my vortec 454 heads. Reached everything I needed and cut well.Be careful though if using a cheap harbor freight high speed electric die grinder, the shaft will bend/warp very easily. After that it's hard to get back to striaght.

I had no problems with this item. I used it on a cast iron manifold and cast iron heads.
