The bell was a bit scuffed and didn’t look brand new to be honest. On the plus side, it’s very sturdy, easy to install and the bell is loud. It’s a bit on the big side for my taste, so I may look for a smaller option eventually.

This was not easy to install as the mounting bracket is very flimsy. This item is of poor quality. It jammed after the 3rd time I used it and now does not work at all. I paid over $10 for this bell. I bought it for the nostalgia, and got a poor quality product. Save your money, take a pass on this bike bell.

When you're riding in the city, a tiny little "ting ting" bell is not going to do it. You need something that will be heard over people's car stereos, pedestrian's AirPods, and general idiocy. This bell has enough volume to do that, and has a long, sustaining ring to make sure they can place you after they recognize the sound. Well worth the price.

Pros- aesthetic vintage vibes- louder than expected- heavy duty materials (it feels well built)- affordableCons- if you pull it to ring repeatedly back to back the mechanism doesn't catch causing it to skip a ring. In order to avoid this, pull once then wait at least 3 seconds to let the mechanism inside the bell to reset and then pull it again.Aside from that one con, I love it.

This bell is loud and the ring sounds like an analog phone ringing. Always gets the attention of pedestrians. Works very well and is easy to use. I like the vertical bells, which leaves more space on the handle bars of my old mountain bike.
