New Elite 2 Latest Technology Android TV Box 2022, Android Tv Box, Voice Control Remote

I've had the opportunity to fully explore the Elite 2. For the money, this thing can't be beat.THE GOOD:You will have access to every entertainment channel imaginable as well as TV shows, movies, sports, and then some. For the most part, this thing handles it very well. Make sure to update the system, and then install apps from their app store. Playback, Blue TV, Blue VOD, Backup TV, Elite VOD 2.0, Elite Tv 2.0, Elite TV 1.5, and channel up will all be useful. Some are better than others. There are also some sports apps. These are just their proprietary apps that you get for owning the device. On top of that, you can install android apps from google Play. I rarely use my Roku players since owning this.THE BAD:The Wifi connection on my Elite 2 isn't great. I experienced some buffering when connected to wifi. I don't have this issue with any of my Roku players. The only solution for me was to go wired which immediately quelled the buffering problem. The other occasional issue is related to streaming live TV. There have been some instances where a channel may be down. Sometimes it is back up within 5 minutes, and sometimes not for the rest of the night. This is where having all of those apps I listed matters. For example, if a TV channel fails on the Blue TV app, try the Elite TV 1.5, Elite TV 2.0, or Channel UP apps. More than likely your TV channel will still be available from another app. For this reason, I only recommend the Elite version of this TV box if live streaming TV matters.Another con is the included remote. It's not great. I decided to go with Air Mouse and it works well. I won't get into that.CONCLUSION:I am very happy with my purchase. I have owned it for 6 months and the device is still working great! I have the HDMI output split off to 3 locations now thanks to the Air Mouse and wifi remote app. I will update my review if anything changes.

This is actually a good product. With this there is absolutely no need for TV cable. However, the unit comes - at least now - with a software update warning !!! and to get to it is almost impossible - it is not called an update - which will expire - which they don’t tell you - and then you will be stuck. Thank God, there are currently 2 YouTube videos that guide you through the complicated download, but, don’t delete the original TangTV app, as told, it will replace itself as in a normal update and it will continue to give you this foremost App until you, hopefully, complete the process. Also the videos take for granted that you know what you are doing. Make sure you get this from a dealer that will respond to you. Also get an extended warranty.

Have several of these. (Previous experience was with the Monsterbox). Have them on both WiFi and LAN connections. Have not noticed any significant difference between the two. I have fiber optic internet service.When the device is working, which it does the majority of time, it is very good. But, at times it can be temperamental. Some channels no problem; some will buffer a lot. Most problems I experience are with the live TV apps. Fortunately there are three main selectable apps and usually at any given time one is working OK.Sports broadcast, whether on live TV or sports channels, can be frustrating at times. The VOD apps are great. I binge watch on them a lot. Have had a couple of power supply failures of late. A little disturbing but an inexpensive fit.Lastly I want to give a strong favorable recommendation towards the seller. Tremendous quick responses always.

The box wasn’t downloadable so it was of no use to me. i couldn’t watch the programming I paid for. Only good thing the seller have me a refund

Received the box as a Christmas gift 2022. 4 months later the remote doesn’t work. Wants me to download upgrade but can’t get to it. For the price payed should work longer than 4 months. And yes I tried changing the batteries.
