Fender Ultra String Guides (2) Electric Guitar Hardware, Chrome

I picked these string trees up to replace the cheap roller trees I previously put on my Strat, and I'm thrilled with them! The chrome plating is excellent. They look high quality and have a bit of heft to them for their size. They didn't seem to add any friction to the strings vs the rolling trees, and I've had no tuning issues making the swap. They are also super easy to install, so they are a great upgrade even for beginners. Plus, they'd look equally at home on a vintage style or modern style Strat. If you are looking to upgrade your string trees at all and don't want to go the Graph Tech route, these are a no brainer.

I have an LsL Bad-Bone One (Tele) guitar. Now, I really love LsL guitars, but their one design flaw is that they use a washer as a string guide for the high E & B strings: one strong bend on the high E string and off it slips! Using one of these guides eliminated this issue! They are solidly built and so smooth they won't affect the tuning in any negative way. Good product!

Nice little string retainers that work great on my Telecaster build. It's a must have.

Perfect fit on my Fender Vintera II Bass VI and a lot better looking than the cheap 2 piece stamped metal guide that came from the factory. A perfect match on the factory chrome tuners and hardware too. I did reuse my factory screw because the screws that come with this one were shorter and smaller in diameter. Nice cheap and easy upgrade that took about 2 minutes to swap out.

Real deal. Fender packaging and more robust then what I had. I like.

I hate the cheap bent metal string trees that come on some guitars. I wanted a cosmetic upgrade more than a functional one, and these fit the bill. These string trees are not oversized or heavy and will look great with modern or vintage-style guitars. The machining and chrome plating is nice too, the string glides along smoothly. A little pricey for what they are, but not way overpriced like a lot of Fender parts. The included screws were longer but about the same width as my stock screws, so I used the included screws and they are nice and secure. Easy installation with no modification needed.

These are quite expensive, but let's be honest, most aftermarket string trees are usually trash, and these will last decades. Miles better than the factory string trees on Mexican Fenders

Not much to go wrong with these, they helped fix the string tension issues on a telecaster build I did. I may have got the placement wrong for one of them, but for the most part it fixed the problem. I really did like how these look, that's what won me over the most, over the classic stamped metal style string trees. Although, probably not the string trees themself, a new problem arose of the strings ringing out past the nut. So, now I'm on the lookout for a head stock/nut wrap or some sort.
