The only issue that I have with this backpack is trying to get the cat to go into it! It is larger and sturdier than I expected. I bought this for my hubby (partially as a joke because he is so obsessed with his cat, but also because we needed a good hands-free carrier since we have 2 cats and 2 dogs) and it fits surprisingly well- He is 6'2" with a muscular build, and I am 5'7" with an average build- and we can both use it comfortably.

my cat hates carriers...legit i once tried to get her in one... and oh man.. she was not having it...i got clawed.. she got away.. and the only way i was able to get her so i could literally move out of my house was to put her in a gigantic box...but with this... she climbs right in.. no issues...so easy.. shes peaceful for the most part (she does get a little like.. "wait.. how do i get out?" when the car ride is taking a while... so she paws at it and tries to stick her head through the plastic... and eventually gives upeven after getting done at the vet, she climbs right back in.i cant recommend this thing enough! its a life saver!

My cats really enjoyed going outside for the first time, but since I'm paranoid of them getting out, I had them in a harness and clipped them to the clip. Within a few seconds, they got themselves tangled. One got it around her torso and freaked out, and the other got it stuck around his neck (I put them in at separate times by the way). If you are going to get this bag, either don't use the clip, or plan to make adjustments to the length of the string. I won't be returning it, but I will have to make some adjustments. Very convenient when storing. You can break it down and fold it flat, which is nice. Floor padding has a strong piece of material that keeps a flat ground for your cat. It is very soft too, the kittens loved kneading it. The flooring also has velcro at the bottom to keep it in place. Plastic definitely is flimsy, but if your cat isn't psycho about small spaces, it should hold just fine. The zippers are not reachable from inside due to fabric flaps hiding it from your cat. They do not lock though, so be careful if your cat is an escape artist like mine. Feels alright on the back, just a little nerve wracking that you can't see them, but that's to be expected, haha. Overall, it's not top tier but you're getting what you're paying for, and a little bit more. I hope this helps you figure out if this is best for you!

I like it for it’s purpose. I really appreciate the fact you can unzip the entire bag for washing and travel purposes. My cat really enjoys it and even chills in it randomly around the house.

It’s easy to carry and I get complements at the vet’s office BUT it doesn’t work that well for my 12 pound cat— the structure of the bag is kinda flimsy and the bottom slopes down when my cat is in it so her body is pressed against the clear dome. I’ve seen other cat backpacks that are better for supporting the weight of the cat

When I walk my dogs, my cat is right behind me so I thought I would get him this for safety. Overall we really like it. The straps are adjustable for me and it fits well on my back. My cat seems to enjoy the ride as he walks right in when I get the dog leashes. He knows its Go time! I've had lots of compliments on it and its very sturdy.

Our cat absolutely loves it! He likes seeing the world and is very comfortable in his carrier. When not being used, he plays and takes naps in it.
