Very happy with these lights!
Long review but hopefully helpful. I have a 2012 F250 Lariat that had a headlight bulb go out on the passenger side. I looked at new halogen Sylvania bulbs like what were in it already but thought this may be a good time to upgrade to LED if I could find good ones for around the same price. I started learning what I could about LEDs and found out there is a lot more to consider when switching to LED than I thought. It can be confuaing and pricing was all over the place. I have tried to leave a lot of info in this review for both these LEDs and LED headlights in general. Hopefully this info can help you out if you're just now starting to look into LEDs for your vehicle. Here is a little of what I learned before ordering these...The light temperature/color is important to consider. Most halogens are in the 3500 to 4500 range which is a little yellowish. LEDs usually offer choices in the temp range from 4000 to 7000 and even higher. I read that a sunny day at noon is around 5500k so shooting for around 5500 to 6000 is a good idea if you want a white light. 6500 is at the top end of white before it begins turning to blue but it is still white. These LEDs look white to me, I'm not seeing any blue in these and they are advertised as 6500. If you go much higher than 6500-7000 than you may begin to see blue. I also read that you can actually lose visible light in the blue spectrum so even a higher lumen rating blue light can look dimmer than a lower lumen rating white/yellow light. The F250 I have is a reflector headlight, not a projector, so that meant I should probably look at 2 or maybe 3 sided LEDs for my style of reflector instead of 4 sided. If you have projector headlights you may want to research what kind of LED would be best in your headlight before just ordering any you find with good reviews. Also I wanted the LEDs themselves to be positioned on the chip roughly where the hot spot of the filament on my old bulb was so the light would hit the reflector in the same places as the old bulb. If I chose poorly I could be one of those jerks who blinds everybody by reflecting the light into the eyes of oncoming drivers. This 2 sided LED would reflect correctly in my headlight as long as I faced the LEDs to the left and right, not up and down. Fyi, that is what the set screw helps with. If you install the light and the LEDs face the wrong way than you can remove the set screw, spin the "bulb" in the housing and tighten the set screw back. These installed correctly in my truck without messing with the set screw but it looked easy to do if I needed to do it.I read about the possible issues with vehicle computers telling you your lights are out when they're not. My truck does not have the lights talking to the computer so I cannot speak to that working or not with these LEDs. If you have warning lights on your dash that tell you when a bulb is out than you should make sure these CAN Bus LEDs will work with your year, make and model of vehicle before ordering. Some have issues with flickering LEDs due to wattage differences among other things but I can say I do not have that issue at all with these. I have a steady bright light all the time. The only time a see a flicker at all is when I crank the motor over to start, they flash while the truck is starting but that is the only time I've seen anything but steady light.LEDs need to be cooled or they will burn out fast. Different manufacturers use different cooling options, the 2 I've seen are fans and heatsinks. These have fans on them. Some dislike fan cooling and some are not bothered by it, it does not bother me on my truck. The fan needs to run to cool the light so if the fan goes out, the LED will most likely fail quickly. The fan is another failure point, consider that, but it seems the fans work pretty well from what I've read. The fans on these have worked perfectly for months. Some don't like the noise the fans make but I only hear it after I shut the truck off, it runs for a few seconds to cool down. If you turn the ignition on without cranking the motor you'll probably hear the fans kick on too but I don't find it annoying for my every day use. I can't hear them at all while the motor is running but I do have a diesel, not sure if you could hear the fans over a gas engine or not, I doubt it though. After all the studying I decided if I could find a decent LED set in the 5500-6500 color temp range for less than 50 bucks I would try them out. These seemed like a good choice based on reviews and all the other factors I was looking for so I ordered them. I am glad I did! Installing them was really as easy as installing any other bulb. The LED fit the socket well and the plug adapter plugged in to my wiring harness correctly minus one small issue. The plug did not click into my harness, just slid on but could easily slide off too. I put some cable ties on it so it wouldn't be able to rattle loose. Other than that little issue, the install went very well. Before changing the old light on the driver side I put some tape on my garage wall where the old bulb hot spot was showing along with the new LED light on the passenger side. You can see that dimmer yellowish halogen and blue tape on the left and bright white light on the right n the first pic. The second pic is with both new LEDs installed. I wanted to make sure these LEDs would stay pretty close to my original beam pattern so I wouldn't blind people. Once installed, I turned them on and the beam pattern was pretty much perfect, landed right in that taped area on my wall. I was impressed with that first and then the brightness, wow, they are bright. I don't anticipate using the high beams often but there is a noticeable difference between low and high beam, the high throws the light higher and farther as it should. After months of use and over 5000 miles towing a fifth wheel camper across 8 states everything is still great, I have no complaints. I'm not getting any flashing from on coming cars and the LEDs are working perfectly, nice bright white light. I can see a lot better now at night, a little more peace of mind while driving the family around. Over all, these are a great price and seem to be very good quality to me.

**BEST BULBS ON THE MARKET**
***TIRED OF SEARCHING FOR THE BEST HEADLIGHT BULBS? LOOK NO FURTHER***After multiple purchases of less expensive bulbs, removal and reinstalling bulbs multiple times, I finally decided I was waisting my time and money at a very fast rate! That’s what brought me to BeamTech and I’ll never buy another brand of bulbs. •••WHY BEAMTECH?•••• ULTRA CRISP LIGHTING• OUTSTANDING REVIEWS• They are all that and a box of chocolates• Built to last• No flicker or error codes• High and Low beam are perfect• Designed for comple field of driving vision with no dead spots• Light pattern is exceptionally good• The fan mazes zero noise• Not a blue light but just as bright• On coming traffic didn’t think my lights were on bright (an issue I had with the first 3 brandsYes, they are pricey but they are worth every penny!! You can even add a $3.50 extra warranty if you’d like. But let’s face it, if something is going to break it’s generally within the first 6 months - year. Which is well within the manufacture warranty period.I had a question about installation positions on the last 3 installations and I’m happy to report, BEAMTECH provided this information in their booklet.**See pictures for directions of installation. I included it as well as it’ll be in your booklet if you choose to purchase.*^^^^BULB POSITIONING IS KEY!!!^^^^*There’s 3 ways one could position these bulbs when installing. However, there’s only one correct way. If bulbs aren’t installed in the correct position light will:• have blind spots• blind oncoming traffic• prohibits light from have even distributionie: HIGH BRAM GOES ON THE BOTTOM**NOTE BOTH BULBS MUST BE IN SAME POSITION OR YOU WILL HAVE BRIGH LIGHT DASH INDICATOR ON LOW AND BRIGHT .. if you get this dash light issue CHECK YOUR INSTALLATION POSITION!!I hope this review is helpful and prevents someone from buying 3 different sets of headlight bulbs like me!

1st pic Low beam last 2 high beam. Bought my 14 f250 and the headlights were baaad. Right side pointed at the ground 3 feet in front of the truck and left blinded people. So I tried to adjust and my screw stripped out 🤬. Figured we’ll let’s see if the bulbs are just trash picked these based on reviews and daang soooon. Brightness 10/10. It’s almost as if there’s a cutoff like a projector so beam pattern 10/10. Color is 10/10, perfect white looking down the road and blueish looking at the vehicle I love it. High beams it’s like I have a high quality 38 inch led bar. If you have a 11-16 super duty with stock housings get these. Do it now. Oh and turns need resistors if you put leds in don’t ask 🙃

Easy to install on my 2014 Chevy Cruz LTZ
Would recommend these LED replacement bulbs. They are a bright white in color. Were easy to install overall, though had to change the LED orientation. Was not hard to change the orientation of the LEDs. Recommended orientation of the LEDs is at 9 and 3 but came from the factory about 45 degrees off. Took a little trial and error to get it right. A simple matter of using the supplied Hex wrench to remove the screw. Be careful, very small screw.Have not had any problems with on coming drivers "flashing" me! Which was a pleasant surprise. The manual that came with the lights was nicely done. The only issue I've had is radio interference, I've contacted the seller to see if they have a fix or can recommend something. There is no interference till the DRL come on when I place the car in drive. Was impressed enough that I purchased the LED fog light replacements from Beamtech.

Summit 850 Skidoo - Best lights out of several brands
I’ve tried 4-5 sets of LED headlights from amazon, (different brand names) and these are by far the best. I have them in a 2019 skidoo summit 850 (gen 4 chassis). The light pattern isn’t the best but I’m pretty sure that got to do with the headlight assembly itself. These are highly recommended.

Better than expected
These LEDs are very bright. I can't speak to the longevity as I've only had them in for a few days, but literally night and day difference coming from stock halogens.Ever wonder why some cars look like they are blinding everyone in oncoming traffic? Depending on the optics your car comes with, you may have to rotate the bulbs. On my Jeep renegade, the LEDs have to be pointed sideways to reflect inside the headlight bowl and it projects outwards. If the LEDs were aimed to reflect top and bottom, i i would blind everyone. Keep this in mind when you buy any led bulbs. There is a small set screw and included Allen key that you can remove the screw with, turn the bulb to the proper direction and reinsert the set screw. Problem solved. No lights sure to canbus either. Highly recommended so far.

Decent
The media could not be loaded. 04 F150Make sure you look at the paper that comes with it. It is very important that you orient them correctly in your housing. The chip that is closest to the base is your high beam and it needs to be at the bottom or it will throw its light lower rather than higher. The set screw that allows you to turn the base to line them up is nice and easy to use, only had to adjust one side, the other was perfect out of the box.Decent beam pattern and very bright, the low beams are more than sufficient for 90% of my driving.

Not recommended for Toyota/ Lexus
Last year I ordered Beamtech H13 for low beam, it works fantastic. A definite improvement. This year I thought I would order the led high beam 9005. Toyota uses the 9005 as high beam as well as a daytime driving light. When it is used as day time light, I assume the voltage is less. This caused flickering in the led day time driving lights, to correct this I bought anti- flickering wire harness. This however increased the voltage to put the day time driving lights to full high beam, which obvious, is not good for oncoming drivers. I am sure these will work great for other vehicles however I can’t recommend these for a Toyota.
