Works great but your banana plugs need to wear condoms
Used this splitter to route receiver speaker signal into two speaker selector boxes. At first it worked and then started getting speaker wire short problems. As mentioned in other reviews, the way these splitters are designed, they allow banana plugs to touch each other. You have to keep the banana plugs separated or insulated somehow. It’s not that hard to do but sure would have been nice to know this in advance. For a quick and dirty fix I just wound a thick strip of cloth through the eight banana plugs and then wrapped the whole mess up with some Velcro cable ties. Probably wrapping electrical tape around each banana plug would be a cleaner and better looking way of doing it.

Awesome.
Saved me hours of work. Converted bi amp speakers back to single wire connections. Time will tell how they hold up but they seem good enough for the girls I go out with.

Perfect for what I needed
I have two sets of outdoor speakers, one set on the deck and one set by the pool. I use a Sonos Amp to power them and stream music, but connecting four speakers to one Sonos amp was difficult. These combiners (for lack of a better word) worked well for me. I have solid, clean connections from each speaker to the Sonos Amp. Big win.

Messed up my whole system.
My receiver went out so I bought these to ease the bi-wire set up on my system. At low volumes the sound was not as good but the receiver did not cut out. At louder volumes the receiver would cut out. After replacing the receiver again I realized I had the exact same problem so I got a third one from another part of the house with the same result. Anyway, I started removing speakers and reinstalled banana plugs and checked everything but the only constant to the problem were these splitters and voila after removing them the sound is fine and I can listen to it as loud as I want. I cannot believe how many hours I lost on this project. Ugh
