USB Microphone - PC Streaming Podcast Microphone, Recording Microphone, Gaming Microphone, 192KHZ/24Bit Condenser Mic, USB Mic Kit with Sound Chipset Boom Arm Set

I purchased this microphone to use for my live streams and was quite please with how easy it was to setup. For an inexpensive microphone, it really does sound quite good. The only issue I have is that the microphone is not loud enough if I use it with the wind-guard on, so I have to use it with the wind-guard off. I just use the wind-guard to protect the mic from dust when it is not in use. The microphone arm is sturdy, except for the part that goes into the clamp section that is attached to my desk. The arm is wobbly at that point and I have to check regularly to make sure the clamp is not loosening up. Note: the vendor sent me an unsolicited postcard offering me a $30 Amazon gift card for a review. I shredded the postcard and did not redeem it, because I felt that would be unethical.

I ordered this for my husband's gaming setup. We have always just used our mics on our headsets, but he is now a paid Dungeon Master. It seemed time to upgrade his mic setup, and this setup happened to have a deal before Christmas, as well as good reviews. I was worried that at the lower price point (29.99 then on sale), it would not be a high quality mic, but I was pleasantly surprised. My husband got it all set up quickly and easily straight out of the box, and he has played around with it just speaking regularly, through Discord, with a voice modulator software, with the screen on, without the screen. The noise cancellation is absolutely phenomenal. He was able to crinkle a bag of chips right next to the mic, and it picked up nothing. I can't say anything about whether this mic is good for ASMR. We tried it out with some keyboard sounds and some whisper recordings. Neither of them were particularly good or crisp, but that may have been user error because have no experience in ASMR recording. For podcasting and gaming, this mic is awesome, though!

This microphone is just what I needed to bring my sound quality up for streaming and recording voice overs.Here's the quick break down:Pros:-Affordable-Easy to set up-Comes with essential accessories-Great sound quality! I can't believe how good my audio now sounds when recording and streaming!Cons:-(Not really a con, just a minor adjustment) The clamp for attaching the pop screen filter is a little tricky to use where intended and sometimes slips a bit. I fixed this by attaching it somewhere else and resting the bottom of the pop screen on my mic and never have a problem.Bottom line:ABSOLUTELY recommend this microphone, it has clear quality for an amazing price and the fact that all of the accessories come with it really sweeten the deal.

I bought this microphone so that I can dictate to my Windows 10 Pro machine as I add to the book I am writing. I am using LibreOffice, installed a virtual keyboard app and on keyboard I select the microphone. After that I just start speaking and the words appear in my document. The program understands my words and spells them out. Since it is spoken english it does not add punctuation.I selected this microphone because of the adjustable arm and desk clamp. When I don't use the microphone I just swing the arm to the side.I am really happy how easy it was to install the microphone, basically just plug the usb cable to one of the usb ports on my laptop.

So I bought this for work, not gaming or streaming, after having mic issues with my headset and even Airpods directly to the computer via Bluetooth. Everyone said they had trouble hearing me no matter what settings I used. Plugged this guy in and have not had a single complaint since. Even when on a call attached to an office speaker phone, everyone is able to clearly hear what I have to say every time. Well worth the cost, retracts out of the way when I'm done, easy to switch between computers. Easily one of my best business expenses this year.
