This is an excellent controller. I have three set up for zones in my kitchen for cabinet lighting and they are perfect. Alexa integration and the Tuya app work well. Customer service has been stellar with a wiring issue I was having with the LED's but once figured out I am very happy with all the products. Once my counters get installed and I finish the rest of my kitchen remodel I will have some very jealous neighbors! I used the BTF-LIGHTING 5in1 WB5 controller to bring my pool waterfall LEDs to life, and it couldn’t have worked better. Setup was quick and easy—once connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Tuya Smart app, I had full control right from my phone. The color options and brightness control are fantastic, and it responds instantly to changes, even from Alexa. What really impressed me is how smooth the transitions and effects are. Whether I’m going for a relaxing color fade at night or bright, vivid colors for entertaining, this controller handles it all. It even syncs well with other LED zones I have nearby. If you're looking to add smart lighting to your pool features, this controller is a solid, affordable option. Just make sure you’re on a 2.4GHz network, and you’re good to go!

When it works, it works great, but often they stop working. The app is easy to use, it connects to Google Home and it drives LED lights just like expected. However I had to go through 3 of these boxes before I got them working. The first worked for 5 min and then stopped connecting online. The second worked while I had one LED strip but when I unplugged it and moved the strip it would only controll my rgbww strip as if it was only an rgb strip. The third also worked great for a day but then when I unplugged and replugged the strips it stoped recognizing my rgbww strip and treated it as an rgbw strip. Now that my led peoject is finished and I don't need to unplug the LEDs anymore, the 4th controller is working great. In all the previous failures, I never exceeded the amp limit or short circuited anything. In general these seem to work great but they are not robust and go out if you look at them weird. Plan to buy 2x the number you need for your project and retuning half of them because they will break. Thankfully, Amazon makes returns really easy

I'm fairly new into our LED & smart home journey and its all overwhelming. No matter how many YouTube videos you watch, they all seem to avoid talking about power & controllers like is the black abyss of the deep ocean, not worth venturing into without an Engineering Degree, Structural Diagram and Excel Project Sheet. I'm exaggerating of course, but the world of separate LED components gets overwhelming quickly with the different color modes, power requirements, etc. I initially got this one to do "whatever I needed" UNTIL I better understood this crazy world of ESP32, WLED Project, and Smart Home lighting. This unit can handle both 12v and 24v PowerSupplies connected via either a barrel connector or bare wire. It can handle all the LED Strip types (RGB, CCT, WW, RGBW, etc), dimming capable, it connects reliably to wireless, is easy to setup, comes with detailed instructions (changing the LED mode is the trickiest to remember to do, pay attention) is easy to setup with Smart Homes like Alexa, HomeKit, and popular Open Source tools like Home Assistant. This has been such a convenient tool that I use these for all of my Smart Home LED strips and have quite a few of them now. I'll eventually explore ESP32s and WLED controllers, but now it will be because I want to, not because I have to.

I purchased this to use as a remote dimmer for some accent LED lighting I added to my Gardesol Louvered Pergola (review on that, soon to come). I was a bit skeptical at first but figured I'd give it a go. Very glad I did. This is pretty freaking rad. The app that you use to control it was super easy to setup and use. It has a ton of cool features but the one I use the most is the schedule feature. I have it setup to turn on at a calming 20% brightness at 8:00PM and off at 10:00PM every night. Long enough to dazzle and cause envy with my neighbors who have relegated themselves to using string lights (gross) to light their patio, without me remembering to turn them on or staying up past my bed time to turn them off. There are a few things that I will point out but probably aren't a big deal to most. First, the current output rating on this is 12A @ 12-24VDC. For the size of this unit, that's not something to blink an eye at; its rather impressive. However, the screw terminals aren't capable of holding a wire gauge greater than 14 AWG stranded. Yes, I know that 14 AWG is typically rated for more than 12 Amps, but the 10.4 Amp LED driver that I purchased came with a 12 AWG pigtail and it made the mating of the two rather annoying. So keep that in mind. Secondly, it would be nice if the unit was a tad bit smaller. I have mine installed in a single gang weatherproof box and its just a touch too big to fit in there neatly. It will probably fit fine in a standard single gang box if you were using it indoors. Lastly, its installed in a single gang, waterproof, metal box, outside of my house, and somehow is still able to connect to my Wi-Fi router. I thought for sure that it was a longshot but it works...that's pretty freaking rad. Especially for the price. Final note: The review is asking me to rate the adhesion. I didn't use the adhesive tape that came with it so I can't rate it. Besides, that's a strange feature to ask someone to rate on this.

I purchased this BTF LED strip controller, and the installation was surprisingly easy. Connecting to the app was quick, and the controls are intuitive. However, there is one major downside when dimming the lights via the app: the controller box starts to emit a noticeable buzzing sound. This is especially distracting at lower brightness levels, particularly in a quiet room. It really takes away from the experience, as you would expect a silent operation from a product like this. Overall, it’s a decent controller in terms of installation and functionality, but the buzzing noise when dimming is a drawback. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future. ★★★☆☆ (3/5)

Einfache Einbindung in die App, alle Funktionen wie beschrieben.

Works as expected, terminals seem to hold quite strong and WiFi control is easy to setup. Will definitely purchase again for other projects

Nice lighting options with this and an appropriate controller, can have various lighting setups run from this with separate controllers pairing them together as zones (upto4) ie ceiling lights and wall lights on zone 1 under cabinet lights on zone 2 or working individually with 4 switching options, just make sure to use compatible controllers
