I was getting tired of canister vacs as the good ones are expensive but don't last past 3 years. Not a big fan of bulky upright vacs that are heavy and good luck getting into tight spaces. So, was looking to find something that would work as a regular vac, not too heavy, and reliable. Decided to try this one.Cons: A little loud, not easy to clean the filter, rigid hose, attachments are not designed for regular house cleaningPros: Suction power! Not heavy and easy to lift. Allows to get under sofas and into tight corners. Collects larger objects and pet hair and can collect water if needed. Can be used outdoors and as a wet vac.I gave 5 stars keeping in mind this is designed to be a shop vac, not your regular house vac. However, if they improved the hose and attachments I would only buy this to be my house vac. It works amazing.Update 9/24/23: Almost had it for a year now. Using it 1-2 times per week to clean the house and the cars. Works no issues. Suction power - as new. The hose started to kink in one spot so required duct tape to keep it straight. Filter is now bad and needs replacement but I washed it almost weekly. I still think it's better than canister vacs due to the power it has and ability to get into all tight corners.

I bought this vacuum for it’s small size and hoping that suction power would be enough to help clean the pellet stove.This is a great vacuum. Suction is great. It’s small enough to not be in the way. I bought the vacuum bags to prevent all the ashes from getting all over the place. Maybe it’s not for everybody but it is a great little vacuum for the pellet stove

It was obvious that the vacuum had been previously used and returned. The filter was filthy and it had a broken wheel. Now I have to go to the hassle of taking it to UPS for return. I won't receive a replacement for a week or more. I am very disappointed since this was a gift and now I have nothing to give. I cannot rate the vacuum itself since I haven't powered it up, but it looks like a cheap piece of plastic.

This is small but so much power. Easy to move around. If your looking for good easy to move powerful vac ... stop looking THIS IS IT!

The the suction is greater and the chord length is longer than my vintage 6 gallon, 2 HP Shop Vac. The maneuverability via the wheels is poor and the rear wheels tend to come loose and fall off when the vac is turned to change direction. It's not well balanced, too much weight on the back of the machine. Fortunately, with the tools removed from the rear "tote box", it's a light-weight vac that can be easily carried and placed where you want it to be located. I've used this vac to get under and behind furniture and the bed, between the carpeting and base-boards, under couch cushions, etc. where the household upright can't get to. The bag that was included is small, the bags I have for the 6 gallon Shop Vac will probably be too large for this 4 gallon version, thus, hope that bags for this machine are available. The tools are okay, though the brush bristles on that attachment are too hard and stiff for doing the fabric window blinds. The extensions are short, so had to combine them with one from the old machine as well in order to reach some locations. Not a perfect vac, but it does the job for most applications.
